Thinking about Early Access? Exclusive Access? What's The Difference Between The Tiers?!

Good day everyone! This post goes into detail about the differences between the $5, $10 and $40 tiers in the case of Early and Exclusive Access! Remember that all the tiers have a bunch of other perks like video suggestions, private chats or calls or access to polls, schedules and scripts. But this post only focuses on the early and exclusive access differences!:

Elite Nobles ($5): You will get a maximum of 7 days early access. You will see videos up to a week before they are public on YouTube. This includes: Theories, Discussions, Analysis, Anime Reaction Highlights/Discussions. During RWBY, you will see my RWBY reactions on Thursdays, whereas $10 Patrons will get Same-Day Early Access.

Royal Advisors ($10): You will get a maximum of 30 days early access. You will see videos up to 30 days before they are public on YouTube. This includes everything mentioned in the $5 tier. $10 Patrons also get Same-Day Early Access to my RWBY reactions during RWBY Season. You will also get EXCLUSIVE Access to my Full Length Anime Timer Sync & Subtitle Reactions. $5 Patrons do not have access to exclusive Full Length Timer Sync Reactions, whereas $10 Patrons do. These Full Length Anime Reactions will also be subject to Early Access in the case where the series is already all out. We'll explain that more in the $40 tier.

Court Sorcerer ($40): You will get a maximum of 90 Days Early Access AND Exclusive Access. Includes everything mentioned in the $5 and $10 tier. This Early Access will also apply in the case where I am reacting to a series that is already all out.

Let's use an example:

At the beginning of a month, say I record 8 Exclusive Full Length Timer & Subtitle Reactions to Legend of Korra. I have also recorded 8 Reaction Highlights / Discussions for Legend of Korra on those same episodes (this is what I upload to YouTube).

$40 Patrons see everything right away. They get all the Exclusive Full Length Timer Reactions 1-8 early, AND the 1-8 Discussion Videos early.

$10 Patrons see Episodes 1-4. They get the Exclusive Full Length Timer Reactions for episodes 1-4 AND the episodes 1-4 Discussion Videos.

$5 Patrons see the Episode 1 Discussion video a week early before YouTube does, and the following week they'll see Discussion 2. The 3rd week they'll see Discussion 3, and the 4th week they'll see Discussion 4.

Let's use a different example where series can't be pre-recorded that far in advance:

Say it's Saturday and My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 2 is releasing:

$10 Patrons and higher will see my Exclusive Full Length Timer Reaction to My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 2.

$5 Patrons and higher will see my Reaction Highlights and Discussion to My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 2 early.

---------------------------------------------------------

Early Access can't always apply to every single video. For example, I can't give $40 patrons 90 days early access to a RWBY theory during the actual volume, or else it'll be out too late by the time it hits YouTube. I can't give $5 Early Access for Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss or Miraculous because those videos need to be posted ASAP. But, I still do post a LOT of early access, and I'd suggest checking out my previous series such as Madoka Magica to get a better idea of my commitment, as those posts detail when they came out for different tiers originally.

TLDR:

$5 Early Access is maximum 7 days early. They do not get exclusive full length reactions.

$10 Early Access is maximum 30 days early. They get exclusive full length reactions.

$40 Early Access is maximum 90 days early. They get exclusive full length reactions earlier than the $10 patrons.

---------------------------------------

It should also be noted that after an anime is finished, $10 Patrons and higher will have access to all those exclusive reactions that I have posted in the past. So overtime there will be a great backlog of full length timer reaction videos that'll increase the value people find in the tier. For example, if you pledged right now at the $10 tier, you can watch AoT Exclusive Reactions Episodes 1-16.

Some people had mixed feelings about this, and thought I should increase the tier of a series if the entire series is finished, out of fairness since $10 is a small amount to see 16 reactions. But really it's like any other subscription service, so I don't want to do that to people, it would be like punishing them just because they didn't know about me during the time the anime was airing.

Think about Disney+ for example: if you paid $10 a month to watch the Mandalorian at midnight, ultimately you will be paying more than someone who waits for the entire season of the Mandalorian to come out, makes a single payment of $10 and binges it all in a night. Why do you do that even though it'll cost more? Because you simply cannot wait. You could also consider RWBY, and how we pay $5 a month to see the episodes first, whereas all the episodes will eventually be out for free. What you got over the person who joins after all the anime series is over, is the ability to enjoy the series with me in real time, talk with me through the comments or the discord etc. So right now, I don't really feel like I need to "price up" AoT reactions just because they're finished. Maybe this will change in the future, but as of right now, I think it doesn't make sense to do that.
