Cuz you get so caught up in "oh what did this person do to make it" when everybody has a different lane I'm guilty of this myself and you get caught up making content you don't really resonate with and question if this is really worth it. Joe doesn’t even follow boxing and knows who Canelo is. The casual boxer spectator likely doesn’t know who Gervonta is. My uncle was a massive boxing fan, back when Floyd was still “Pretty Boy Floyd” when Oscar De La Hoya was his promoter under Golden Boy. Back when Zab Judah was supposed to be the guy hyped to beat Floyd cause his style gave Floyd some trouble. Hardcore fans these days know Lomachenko, Inoue, Donaire, Ugas, Spence, Bivol, Benevidez, Cardenas, etc.. Now for UFC. I’m tryna see Kamaru Usman in a full camp challenge Khamzat for the title. One last run for the belt, one last shot, and a chance to be another two division champ. Usman gave Khamzat the absolute hardest fight of his entire career aside from Khamzat vs Burns. The MW division’s about to see a whole change and step up in competition. I’m tryna see Islam win at welterweight, ilia challenge to potentially be a the first triple champ (don’t think it’ll happen) I’m tryna see Islam move up to Middleweight and challenge Khamzat to see a wrestling spectacle. Those wrestling scrambles, position defenses, hip throws, sweeps, sweep counters etc.. all that shit at su ch a high level sounds so damn exciting
