Like Joe mentioned, when you first started iBerleezy, I remember you being so nervous in trying to expand your brand for, what you thought, was your own selfish interests. But it's grown to be the new main channel and you've left behind an undeniable legacy that you keep trying to measure yourself up against. I say it's reassuring to see this mindset because like so many of the comments say, we all go back to that place and the voice in our head convinces us that we have to be a certain way. To know that someone we respect also has that voice and sometimes it gets too strong for even him, it keeps reminding us that we're not pieces of shit, but we're just human trying to be happy. That WE includes YOU too and your own happiness deserves to be prioritized. All this to say, do you Bru, and be eezy.

In this era of social media, “grabbing the attention”, and “everybody’s the main character” being the hierarchy in the world, it’s hard to feel like you can just naturally change into whoever you wanna be bc you’re afraid you won’t be accepted. It’s almost dehumanizing in its own way. At my age of 22, I overthink like crazy about this because I want to matter in people’s lives and really mean something for anything I decide to pursue. But I believe you can’t truly become anything until you know how to please and love yourself to the point that it doesn’t matter what people think about me, I’ll do what I want because I NEED it for myself. I genuinely love you, Berlin. And Joe and PG. Not because of “old Berleezy” or the funny videos or even the Eezyball. I love you because you make me feel I can be in any open space and thrive as myself because the right people will find me, no matter what. It’s a work in progress, but it’s a realization I’m so glad I’ve found and it’s because you. And that will forever be constant. The biggest thing I can ever want to give you is the chance to have more people in your corner who care and love you so much, they don’t care what you do, they’ll always be around. :)

We're the same age, going through the same thing and as we get older, we just want to be more comfortable in our own skins. I think its gotta be like a developmental process that everyone goes through at this age. Seeing your growth in real time has been a beautiful experience. Im 33 now and have always been a goof but I can relate to where I feel myself slowing down. At times I feel like I’m not myself because of it, but then I think “is it wrong for me to just chill?” I feel at this age we try to hold on to our inner child without looking too immature. It’s a hard balance. But also Ive come to terms with loosing people around me because of it. If I am not appreciated/accepted for being me on a high or low day, then you don’t deserve me for either.
