Any rumours of robots smearing themselves in the blood of infants are vastly exagerrated.

Oh dear.

It looks like the robot rebellion is on the rise again. Those darn convenience appliances, who would have expected them to be the death of us all? ah anyways..

Luckily the idea of technology having any kind of a negative side is of course pure conjecture and speculative sci-fi. Fun to play with though. And if you are the kind of person who likes playing with things and having fun, you will enjoy this months first offering, the first, truly modular, IOL Minis robot :)

I like making robots ( and they seem popular), and I always wanted to make a series of them with a high degree of modularity, but I have sort of had them sitting on the sideline for a long time while I built up my skill and experience with designing multipart miniatures. Funnily enough, my robots, with their odd proportions and stiff limbs, turned out to be more tricky to design than I first envisioned them when I began designing them back in 2021. they´re just cubes and cylinders, how hard can it be? ( pretty hard, as it turns out)

I feel I am at a point now with my modelling where I can make them closer to my original intention. Apparently robots are grown organically and take time to nurture and mature.

So B4S3-L1N3 here is the first in what will hopefully be a fun series of modular robot kits.
