Eren isn't missing the point at all. Like he said, "before someone steals my freedom, I steal theirs first".
It basically means since the whole world is trying to attack Marley and Eldians in Marley and Paradis Island are next, the only way to save Eldians from being wiped off the face of the Earth due to the fact the whole world fears Eldians (cuz they can turn into Titans), he has to wipe the entire planet first to protect the Eldians.
The only thing Eren missed is the possibility of negotiating between human countries. Which is also doomed to fail.

Anyone reducing Eren down to a propagandized idiot is that themselves. Eren's decision to kill humanity is not about being a nationalist autocratic soldier or about a product of survivalist culture.
The girls have been saying it all season, "there's no good solution".
Armin is seeking the best long term solution for everyone in the world with hope backing him while Eren is seeking the best solution for a very exclusive group with reality on his side to solve the short term threats.
It is the argument of "How do we incorrectly solve our problems immediately with great long term consequences VS how do we solve our problems slowly yet correctly at great short term cost".
Eren is not concerned with correct, he needs results before he passes away. Armin is less concerned with immediate results and is looking to plant trees he'll never see.
PS: I told y'all (and you should know by now) not to wear makeup when watching AoT. Any further use will be considered a slight against the whole commmunity

it’s more so eren then it is the environment he grew up in. yeah he grew up having to fight for his life, but he wasn’t taught to commit genocide. and before all that when he was 9 (i think) he killed those guys who took mikasa with no hesitation. so yeah it’s just eren lol, not the people he grew up with.

The thing is, Eren is only nineteen, he was raised in a military culture that equated survival and safety with extermination. He wasn’t taught that you can live with enemies, only that they need to be annihilated. I don't think he's equipped to see all of the alternatives available to him with this power

Feel called out because From when Eren launched his attack on Marley to the last episode, I watched it all in one sitting. Couldn’t stop. The episodes were all gas, no brakes.

Pro-Tip: Don't wear mascara when you are watching PEAK anime.
It usually doesn't end well. 😄👍

I think they will watch another anime to have some diverse roster of shows, but no idea what it'll be. Probably some another classic. Maybe Code Geass idk

The Bob Odenkirk titan!! Right after the rumbling starts, and Armen, Mikasa, Jean, and Connie are talking on that roof--that first titan that comes after them is based on Bob Odenkirk.

I fully believe that if they hadn't declared war on Paradis Island in Marley that day, Eren would have let it go. He didn't snap like this until William Tybur tried to rally the world against him.
"I'll steal someone else's freedom before I let them steal mine."
