Oh damn! That didn’t happen with mine yet. Good thing to watch out for. I’ve noticed metaballs also don’t save between scenes (you can only have 1 scene containing metaballs per project) Other than that the scene duplication trick is usually very reliable for organizing scenes! For instance sometimes I’ll make a separate scene just changing the render settings to have multiple different types of settings on hand within the same project.
