The Furious Wild DLC Update progress Info!

Three Kingdoms fans worldwide are rejoicing as CA is releasing The Furious WIld DLC tomorrow (03.09.2020), alongside Shi Xie FLC. 

However, this means, that as of today, our 3K mod is officially under reconstruction. It is currently not compatible with this newest update and will cause crashes. From tomorrow we will be working tirelessly to fix everything and make it interact seamlessly with all  the new features, but it will require countless hours of work. We need  to ensure that our content has its usual high level of polish and that  everything is done to the highest standard. Rest assured that we will do  everything we can to deliver the update to you as soon as possible, but  we are unsure as to when we are going to be finished so you will have  to unfortunately hang tight for now. 

After all will b eupdated and our mods fully functional once again we will focus on roster expansion for Nanman culture and Shi Xie faction. You can expect many additional units coming, but we will keep the faction unique, so no cavalry or crossbows for Nanman, there will be more focus on animals, poison, ambushes and tribes gameplay!

With all of that in mind, we have a plea to make. The scope of the DLC and patch is extensive and requires almost a complete rewrite of many elements of our collection. Hundreds of hours of work are once again ahead of us, which we need to sacrifice from our private time, often after a full day at work or university. As such, we humbly ask you to consider becoming our Patron, giving us the much-needed boost. Even the smallest gesture helps us get a better grip on our lives and by extension on our work.

Update Info 1  - 03.09.2020: It all started today. I am  back from work, dlc and update is downloaded and starting to check how much has been changed and what all needs to be done. That took around 3 hours and updating process now starts!  This is massive expansion changing many core gameplay things and adding a massive amount of content. Around 3% of all is done!

Update Info 2  - 04.09.2020:  First 8 hours and long night gone, already have something to share with you!  Base overview  of all new  content was done, thousands changes which need to be done are marked and now only to do it all! All new content has been properly investigated  so we know what to do with it and how exactly we will be adapting all new and changed stuff. We will certainly rework Nanman technologies, unit unlocking, sharing units, unit caps and many othe stuff, no plans having Naman units in other rosters (bandits included), no plans giving Naman any heavy Han cavalry or stuff like that, factions must be kept unique and keep their own play style so there is a big variability between them, roster addon to Naman which will come after all this is updated will make sure Naman is great unique faction to play as. Several basic tables are now fully updated aswell. Screw the sleep, after i return from work will continue!  Around 7% of all is done!  

Update info 3 - 04.09.2020: Friday here, 5 more hours of fixing behind me after i returned from work, weekend ahead and i  should have much more free time next 2 days to work on updating - my wife should be tolerant, taking her after updating on 1 week vacation. :-) Now to the update - A lot first tables been updated, mainly tables related to new buildings, effects and AI. All new Naman  buildings are now completely rebalanced, many new effects for larger  variety across all building trees. Effects of Gate Passes improved. AI is now also fully updated for  latest build and will keep its aggressivity behavior instead of passive lazy one! Also removed all Nanman unit caps, reworked Han unlocking units for them - this will be removed entirely after we release our Naman roster expansion. All Naman techs and buildings are unlocked, no reason to limit this at all. Around 16% of all is done.  

Update info 4 - 05.09.2020: We have behind ourselves another long night of fixing and updating stuff. Need short rest, coffee no longer works. Progress is going well sofar. This night i focused on updating all stuff related to new units and characters, ensure that they are properly balanced with the rest of the game, created new weapon variants for them for larger variety, all Nanman is using own unique equipment with very different values then Han factions, many new armour and shield variants, including more missile weapons aswell. There are massive changes between units and their roles, with new attributes. Many new abilities got rebalanced aswell, all new records mode generals receive active skills same as all older ones and much more. Around 26% of all is done.

Update info  5 - 05.09.2020: Big progress today and still long saturday night ahead! Did a lot during day. Part 1 should be now fully updated, with all new buildings, units, abilities, skills, economy changes and new technologies. Also fully focused on Nanman new garrisons and their tech tree and unit unlocking. Many balance changes to all new units. Economy changes are also big and offer more gameplay options - Further Reworked Food Tiers and  Fertility. If all will go well during night i should have tomorrow working beta build which i will open to all our Patrons so they can help me quickly test all Nanman stuff, if everything is working correctly while i wil l work on updating many other things. Around 50% of all is done.

Update info  6 - 06.09.2020: Sunday morning here! We have behind us another long night, already more then 40 hours went into updating the mod to ensure its fully ready for you! Now comes heavy testing and adding less crucial files so its soon ready to go live for everyone! With that all our Patrons can now help us testing Nanman culture properly, we are releasing closed beta build, cause many things need to be tested before release and more eyes see more things, feel free to report any issues, bugs or weird things you may think are related to the mod or game itself - downloading link + password on our Discord server - Patrons channel. All our official submods will be fully updated aswell for release. Around 68% of all is done.

Update info  7 - 06.09.2020: Sunday afternoon here! We are getting closer to final stage, mod is now up and running, both parts have most of the content fully updated and adapted, all Patrons can help us test things to ensure it will be bug free. Heavy testing now and tweaking some new features so there is no evil bug left alone when mod will go live to you. Over 13 000 lines and entries had to be already changed and edited. Fixed also plenty new bugs introduced by CA in latest update and much more. If I manage to finalise all during busy working week i would like to release it during wednesday evening to everyone before i go on my 1 week vacation. Around 80% of all is done.

Update info  8 - 07.09.2020: Incredibly busy last 5 days!  We are almost there and ready to release updated version for all of you! We did some heavy testing to ensure its completely crash free, finalising updating our official submods aswell. There will be plenty additional changes including Duels, Poison and many other things which received a big overhauls. Tomorrow i have to be almost all day at work, after that i will finalise the changelogs and we will run last few tests to ensure all is ready for wednesday release. Around 90% of all is done.

Update info  9 - 08.09.2020:  This is our last blog update! Which means we are finished with updating and release is on the way! We had incredible hard working week to deliver you this update and i am honestly glad i managed to do it. Massive changelog will be posted tomorrow together with update. Expect release sometime between 17-20PM CET once i get home from work (21-24 hours from now).  Around 95% of all is done!
