With thursday release of the Total WAAAGH! for Warhammer II, the familiar buzz of excitement surrounding the game is already affecting many, our humble selves included! From the Ork factions overhaul to 3 new LLs, the update and its accompanying DLC and FLC will provide us with yet another set of excuses to jump back into the fray and hone our strategic and tactical skills. However, as is the case with every update, it will cause our Overhaul and submods to stop working. Such is the circle of life that what works today will be broken tomorrow.
We want to assure you that we remain dedicated to delivering our signature high quality content and that the work on the new update will begin as soon as possible. However, because of the scale of the changes and the amount of new additions, it might take some time for us to rework everything and ensure that it complies with our rigorous internal balance standards. Consequently, we cannot offer any concrete release date for the new version of the Overhaul and the submods, but we will do our best to finish them before the end of May. To make the wait a little bit more bearable, we will continue to appraise you of our progress throughout this entire process. The updates will be added to this post in regular intervals.

Update Info 1 - 21.05.2020: Work started today we have first info to share with you! Base overview of all new content was done, around "million" changes which need to be done are marked and now only to do it all! Many old and existing stuff got changed, so we will have to adapt all that to function properly once again. Now the very slow process starts with adding all new files into the mod, this alone will take dozens of hours to do. Around 2% of all is done!
Update Info 2 - 21.05.2020: First 7 hours of fixing and updating gone! Since almost every part of the mod requires complete rework and rebuild i decided to use same approach as with last update and dlc - I fix and update tables alphabetically one by one. Since there is only like 5% of them which do not require any updates or changes this will ensure i wont miss anything and each change is properly updated and edited. Today i focused on all buildings, building effects, garrisons and character traits - all new buildings are now fully included, all their effects properly updated (new can be added after testing/balancing), Buildings also got rebalanced costs. Around 150 traits and followers received additional effects and balancing. Almost all building effects had to be tweaked due to many core changes CA introduced in this update - that is table with over 18 000 lines. Garrisons for new buildings were all properly updated and reworked as all other buildings in our mod with our units included.
Now time to get some sleep, in 5 hours i have to wake up and go to work, updating process will continue tomorrow evennig when i get back home from work. Around 8% of all is done!
Update Info 3 - 22.05.2020: More stuff updated. Today i focused on tables related to AI, unit recruitment and building requirements. AI recruitment system fully updated with new units which are integrated between already existing units based on their tier and quality. You really wont see in our mod AI spamming 1-2 unit types.
Started aswell full integration of all new units and characters, not yet balancing, that will come later, but all lines must be included first to ensure nothing is missing. Recruitment was updated for all old Greenskins and High Elven units for new buildings and additional building levels. Orcs got mainly new tiers for already existing buildings so recruitment of most units had to be fully adapted to this. Custom units will be adapted same way later during updating process. Around 14% of all is done!
Update Info 4 - 23.05.2020: Saturday here and work continues! Today i focused on tables related to units. This means any core changes to animations, sets, entities were all updated to latest game version. I also added all new units and characters into the mod. All these units received complete rework and rebalance, ror units own unique weapons, many different attributes and complete stats and cost changes to perfectly fit into main core Radious gameplay as you know it (further balancing changes will be done also based on your feedback once the update is out). All new weapons and projectiles were also completely rebalanced and included with additions of our own new ones to make wider differences between each unit.
Now starting to work on all new abilities, spells and skills. Most of these tables also require complete rework due to new collums and wider changes in the tables. Around 20% of all is done!
Update Info 5 - 23.05.2020: Second saturday info is here! All new abilities are now fully updated and rebalanced, same as skills and new spells. Massive atribute rework is done, almost all Beastmen and Wood Elves units are touched, mainly due to new forest buffs and removed penalties. Our custom units are now properly updated for latest build, means changes to recruitment, new buildings, added to new factions from GRN and HE. Also all bonuses from new skills/techs will have impact on them aswell where it fits. Fixed already plenty official bugs introduced in new dlc like several units having no buffs or very limited buffs from skills/techs. Missing some values here and there and much more.
Part 1 is now almost fully updated (this will be fully tested once both parts are working and all can be tested). This means more heavy db tables are now completed and fully updated, Part 2 has less of these but on other hand it contains all script files which have to be completely rewritten once again. Around 28% of all is done!
Update Info 6 - 23.05.2020: Last saturday info is here! I managed to do today big progress and many massive tables are now fully updated! Part 1 is now fully updated. Last several hours i put into updating all UI files our mods are using, like custom loading screens, menus, unique faction UI and other stuff. Further balancing for various units was also done to ensure they all fit nicely.
Since part 2 is heavily focused on our custom units next work will be primary about them - updating all needed files to latest version, enabling units in new factions, updating recruitment systems for dozens of units. Started also first rewrite of all our edited scripts including Chaos Invasions, hordes spawning systems, Orcish and Beastmen invasions and many others. These will take a lot time to complete all. Around 35% of all is done!
Update Info 7 - 24.05.2020: Good day Everyone, sunday here! More info to share. Another big progress. Mod starts once again! Battles and campaigns load fine! Now still a lot to do, heavy testing is now needed of many new things, adjust balance for it, finish updating all scripts so they work properly in campaigns. Finish updating of all UI files and many other things + quality of life changes and tweaks to new content. Same as updating other important parts in Part 2.
At this moment i spend on this update over 30 hours of constant fixing, doing my best since during week my time is much more limited due to my job and other family stuff i need to care about. Still a lot to do, but we are getting closer! Around 42% of all is done!
Update Info 8 - 24.05.2020: Second sunday update info is here! Our mod is finally fully operational once again! Battles and campaigns load fine! Now i need to focus on all new content dlc brought and this will require many additional hours to ensure all is working properly and is balanced aswell. Also all updated scripts need some testing to ensure all new changes in them are working as intended. On top of that some less important tables still require updates. All this must be done before it goes live so you wont get some unfinished turd! Tomorrow i am almost all day at work so updating process will continue at the evening once i get home. Work on all our official submods is also going well and updates for them should be ready at the same time as main mod! Around 54% of all is done!
Update Info 9 - 25.05.2020: Monday is here and after being almost all day at work we have here new progress info of additional progress. All scripts are now fully updated and tested. Chaos invasion got additional overhaul and upgrade to be interesting mid/late game challenge. Many new HE and GRN mechanics received proper balancing and tweaks. Scrap upgrades costs for units edited, all our custom greenskins units can be upgraded now aswell. Several garrison changes for greenskins plus all factions have now proper garrisons in all Elven Colonies. Many bugs fixed, missing skill/tech upgrades for many new units now fully included.
We are getting closer! Around 65% of all is done!
Update Info 10 - 26.05.2020: Next day and our next update is here. Many additional tests are running now to ensure mod stability in both campaigns and for all factions, sofar no issues and any potential bugs being fixed instantly i find them. There was also 2 additional balance rounds for all new units and many old Greenskin and High Elven units. AI recruitment improvements, unit recruitment changes and much more. Many abilities also got rebalanced, received additional effects to increase variety between many unit types. Greenskins received buffs to raiding and sacking so get ready to pillage those lands! Around 74% of all is done!
Update Info 11 - 27.05.2020: Wednesday here and with it our next update info for you! We are almost there! Last 7 days were incredible busy but we are almost ready to release updated version for all of you! We did some heavy testing to ensure its completely crash free, finalising updating our official submods and most of the scripts are now fully updated aswell. Tomorrow we will do some final testing and tweaks and also release preview of full changelog for all our great Patrons. Around 85% of all is done!
Update Info 12 - 28.05.2020: This is our last blog update! Which means we are finished with updating and release is on the way! We had incredible hard working week to deliver you this update and i am honestly glad i managed to do it. Changelog will be shortly posted in our patrons channel (our discord server) and tomorrow update + notes will go live for everyone + updates of all our submods. Expect release tomorrow sometime between 17-19PM CET once i get home from work. Around 95% of all is done!
