You haven't watched much tv if you think this is the most overrated season in history lol. I know you're just crying like most "fans' of this show does on every comment section, acting like this show "became trash" when it's actually one of the best shows in history(99% better than the slop tv we get today)

Ugh, thus begins the most overrated season in TV history. I remember pulling my hair out while watching this season because of how far the quality of the writing had fallen, but upon re-watch it's even worse.

I love ser davos. Liam Cunningham is a brilliant actor.
I think I scrubbed the reveal of the red woman from my mind as I remember her being way more like a more ghoulish fantasy figure of an old lady rather than just a very old, more human figure.

With Dorne I meant alliances from within Dorne. Because Dorne is not just this one palace, it's a whole principality with its own multitude of houses who swear fealty to House Martell, we saw a lot of these Houses when the Dornishmen arrived in King's Landing, with Tyrion and Podrick. Who within Dorne supports the Sand Snakes as rulers of Dorne? Because even if paramours are tolerated in Dorne, no one would think that some random bastard who just murdered the rightful Prince should rule, even if they were the paramour of Oberyn. Oberyn himself, while beloved, was kind of a controversial figure within Dorne. If Doran didn't have supporters for his way of doing things, he wouldn't have survived as long as he did. And if the Sand Snakes don't intend to rule themselves, why do they think the new Prince or Princess would be better? And why wouldn't he/she have them all executed?

As far as The Waif hating Arya is concerned try to look at it as you are BFFs with someone for decades, you trust each other without question. Then one day some random person shows up and starts demanding to be let into the friendship, you tell your BFF that you think this is a bad idea because we don't know this person and are questioning why they are so desperate to be let in, but your BFF doesn't listen. You've put time, dedication, love, and your entire being into this and this new person wants it without any of the work. You take this friendship seriously and they clearly don't and its insulting.
From the second The Waif met Arya she knew that Arya didn't want to be a Faceless Man she just wanted to use their powers to enact her revenge. She was proven right when Arya killed Meryn Trant. Hell, we knew it when Arya hid needle in the rocks rather than letting it sink to the bottom of the sea.
For Dorne, their words are "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken." They were the only house that was able to repel the Targaryen's and their dragons. They didn't really have alliances, they were completely independent and were never under the Rule of any king in Westeros.
There are a lot of things that don't make sense from season 5, 6, 7, 8, but they kind of did an ok job with the beginning of the Dorne and Arya storylines.

Why again does Arya need to become a blind stick fighter? And why does this girl hate her? And why was there graffiti in English in Meereen? And how tf do the sand snakes plan on ruling Dorne after they murdered the prince in front of all his guards? Do they have any alliances, any important people that support them or do they plan on convincing everyone with sick burns? Does anything still make sense?

Maples opinion that children deserve to die is unique , to say the least
As well is her opinion that Sansa, after being brutally beaten by Jofferys kingsguard as well as beaten and raped multiple times by Ramsy, has never been tested physically until having to walk through a freezing cold river.

Season 4 and Season 6 are hands down the best, with a special mention for Hardhome and probably the Battle of the Blackwater.

I think I only meant to say, the usual sense of plot pacing is definitely on a victory tour here before the final two seasons do more frequent Event episodes just by virtue of %Math; I appreciate the ladies going in as blind as they expectation-wise can despite the zeitgeist re: The Show.

I would note the intros for season 6 7 and 8 are different. They only show locations that are going to be in the episode. So they're more important to watch as they'll introduce multiple new locations. On random episodes

Yasss I have my afternoon thing to do after I get off work, while I eat. I gotta say your reactions so far have been way more mild than mine - lol. I screamed at the TV during the Red Wedding and I even knew, sort of, something bad was going to happen. And then again when they killed my boy Jon Snow.
Season 6 is baller. It's going to make up for a lot of boring story building that took up half of Season 5 or more.
