Just curious, if you make an argument saying that Alpine is now relatively so much worse than it was at the beginning of the year (Sauber improving, etc,), how come you think it is a like for like comparison to look at the absolute qualifying and race results for Doohan (a guy who Daddy paid everything for), and Franco (a guy whose parents sold the house to finance his adventure in Europe). I massively challenge the fact that is being thrown around without facts and data that “Colapinto hasn’t been an improvement on Doohan”. He has been, and quite a lot, when you look at objective data. Thing is that so many people like to repeat what is perception from Anglo Saxon press without even checking facts. For the record, The-Race is the best and typically very objective.
