Macbat 64 is coming to Nintendo Switch

Hey there,

sorry for having a bit of radio silence for two weeks. I am currently drowning in work, trying to handle some smaller side projects (that ultimately bringing a bit of money to have a bit of a development budget). :)

One of those projects is a port of my 3D Platformer "Macbat 64" to Nintendo Switch. Now the port is not handled by myself, but I did help out with a few bugs and may have created a bit of bonus content.

The port is going to be announced tomorrow, but I wanted to give you the first view of the announcement and the trailer for it. :) Originally I was planing to talk about this port a week ago, but certain things happened and needed to be solved first. I wouldn't have felt okay with this port, if they would have stayed unsolved. Luckily though, it all turned out fine in the end, so I hope you forgive me for telling you so late about this. At the very least I tell you first before the rest of the twitterverse.

I  personally haven't played it on Switch yet, but on PC. The game was ported all the way from Unity 4 to a more modern Unity version in order to achieve this port. Whille this will make it possible in the future to maybe have some other ports of the game as well, for now it will stay on Switch only (and maybe I do try it out on mobile... just to finally see how it is). 

So I hope you are going to take a look at it, and maybe try it out if you own a Nintendo Switch. :) 

If this is not your kind of game, I can at least tell you that the money earned from this will go into the Budget for Tasty Ramen Episode 2. 

One last quick note on Episode 2: I am currently designing the second half of the game, including a new map to explore. It will be very different, and currently has way too much Dragon Ball Influences. I will show you as soon as I feel comfortable with it. :)
