We hope you've been enjoying our massive August update "Double Down" - how have the twins been treating you?
Because our last update was such a hefty one, this month the team's been mostly working on tightening up some existing things. But not to worry, there's still some good previews and such to share πππ

First off, we've heard from the wider community that ya'll are always interested in more glimpses behind the curtain at what the team is prioritizing / discussing. Here's an example of one such conversation from our Slack.

As you'll see, every decision takes some conversation, delegation, ticket creation, execution by often multiple parties, and implementation...followed by QA. Even things as simple as adding an icon.

Similarly, you'll see some of the considerations that go into determining color palette differentiation for NPCs.

It can all get quite fiddly and specific, but it's worth the work to deliver on our signature neon-soaked aesthetic!

Because, at the end of the day, we just want to create something that we're proud of. Something that looks and feels good, and that hopefully y'all enjoy playing.

And finally - we know players have been really curious about the coming of the Abyss King. What will that fight be like? What's the backstory? How does it all tie together?
We don't want to reveal too much just yet but here are some inspirations / vibes from the depths of our Notion.
