Solo existen dos tipos de líneas;
Descriptivas: Verticales, horizontales y diagonales.
Expresivas: Curvas.
Las descriptivas tienen el propósito de describir formas objetivas, lo que ves.
Las expresivas tienen el propósito de expresar emociones y sentimientos a través de las cualidades de la línea en si, trazo marcado, suave o errático.
Muchas líneas crean formas(rectángulos y elipses o óvalos) y muchas formas generan figuras(un humano puede representarse de forma simplificada con diversos rectángulos variando el tamaño y su ubicación.
El brazo es lo que traza las líneas, es una cuestión de memoria muscular.
Lines are the language of drawing.
There are only two types of lines;

Descriptives have the purpose of describing objective forms, what you see.
Expressive lines have the purpose of expressing emotions and feelings through the qualities of the line itself, marked, smooth or erratic stroke.
Many lines create shapes (rectangles and ellipses or ovals) and many shapes generate figures (a human can be represented in a simplified way with various rectangles, varying the size and location.
The arm is what draws the lines, it is a matter of muscle memory.
