I love your dad & I love seeing you guys talk together! I relate so much to your dad as a chemist who sees the artistry in my work & I have always been fascinated by determining truth, differentiating it from lies & deception etc. Btw, the word he was looking for was βfalsifyβ, essential to demonstrating verity in science.

Also Joel has good beliefs and values that he learned from both his parents, even though he may not directly talk about it. His parents are a bit old school and raised him right. It really shows and makes a positive impact in society. Something the world needs today more than ever. Melissa thank you for the comment, nice to interact with decent people. And I absolutely 100/10 would recommend it to anyone who hasnβt seen it yet!! π₯°π« You can see just how much he loves and misses his mom in that videoβ¦he couldnβt stop hugging her and touching her (putting his arm around her and his hand on her shoulder). A very sweet and wholesome video.

We get to this age when we start to understand so much more about what our parents went through and the decisions they made, but they are also aging, and it's so hard not to worry about not having them around.

It was really interesting what your dad was saying about the theme of music, because that's what I'm most interested to hear in lyrics.. the unique perspective of the person who wrote it or about their relation to someone, how they see the world, etc., because the own experience is the only thing that can't be replicated. Also, a lot of wise things said, very wholesome.
