New Design Direction for Covers

Hi everyone,

For various reasons, the illustrator for the first Web of Secrets cover ended up not being a good fit for me right now, so I won’t be continuing the series in that style.

I did research some other illustrators, but there’s a lot more stress and effort involved in overseeing that style of cover design. I'd like to try that approach again, but it might work better to re-do an existing series rather than fitting the process in with book launches. In the meantime, I decided to go back to Damonza, who also did the covers for the Aeonica series.

And since this style is so different, I decided to have them re-do Book 1 before moving on to the rest of the series. That way, everything matches. (Although I'm starting Book 2 right after this)

Overall, I was happy with this new design, especially since it's so much cheaper/quicker. Hope everyone else likes this too!

I also had a rough plan to continue the series in this "symbol" style:

Book 1: Badge

Book 2: A dragon statue or skull

Book 3: A stained glass window from the Artegium library

Book 4: ?

Book 5: A watch or clock

And so on until Book 8!
