I think I corrected myself during the recording. It was def Quaid not Ford tho.

2024-08-17 05:27:41 +0000 UTCI actually love Phil Rosenthal and Somebody Feed Phil. Check out his documentary on Prime called “Exporting Raymond” about porting the show to Russia. It’s great and you guys will really appreciate it I think.

2024-08-07 18:10:03 +0000 UTCMovie 43 discussion was so justifying. I hate it and it should’ve been beloved.

2024-08-07 00:12:49 +0000 UTCSuch a good story. Up there with "reach Merrill" and taking my flower calendar to Atlantic City 👌🩶 love these guys

2024-07-30 12:15:40 +0000 UTCThose monsters sounded like Daffy Duck when they do that "chattering noise ".

2024-07-29 15:20:18 +0000 UTCWish that was something to still be excited about. I even long for the days if Strays at this point. But that being said, they are always phenomenal live and I will always see them when given the opportunity

2024-07-29 00:32:20 +0000 UTCMeh. I wouldn’t say horrendous. It’s alright as far as late Eminem goes. Better than revival, encore and music to be murdered to…about on par with MMLP2, kamikaze. Then you have relapse and recovery above those. Then of course, slim shady, Milo and Eminem show are the trifecta. His masterpieces. Much like Manson with Antichrist-Mechanical Animals-Holywood.

2024-07-29 00:31:12 +0000 UTCYup exactly.

2024-07-29 00:27:08 +0000 UTCFor me it's either that story or the one where the girl told pat he's a nobody
Lee Ellis
2024-07-27 22:22:56 +0000 UTCStill my all time favorite story from the podcast
Dogliani
2024-07-26 15:48:30 +0000 UTCPat did actually talk briefly about The Wailing

2024-07-26 15:47:42 +0000 UTCIf I’m not mistaken didn’t Joe tell Bill Denbrough’s parents that It Chapter One sucked? 😂

2024-07-26 05:52:02 +0000 UTCNo Longlegs??
Matt Holton
2024-07-26 00:26:13 +0000 UTCAlso - I’d love an episode where Joe just tells us all about what happened in the 60s.

2024-07-25 16:38:13 +0000 UTCNobody cares about what Louis CK did except women who identify themselves as victims in every scenario.

2024-07-25 16:29:35 +0000 UTCThe man that directed Arcadian also did another Nicolas Cage movie called "The Trust" It is a wild movie, and I think it is highly underrated.
Matt
2024-07-25 15:14:46 +0000 UTCThe Michael Moore chili riff was I think the first genuine smile I've had this week.
Clinton Davis
2024-07-25 13:56:59 +0000 UTCWhen you guys were talking about Friends and things just going right to create a great thing: you’re talking about this show. I haven’t seen 90% of these movies but I come back for you two. This podcast could be about anything. The fan base of this podcast isn’t unlike Morrissey’s fans either!
Richard Howenstein
2024-07-25 13:56:40 +0000 UTCI thought the new Eminem record was weak and that particular Candace Owens diss pretty cringey. Maybe I’ll give it another spin but I can’t get down w his staccato style flow the last bunch of albums Love it when you guys talk music 🤙🏼

2024-07-25 11:17:34 +0000 UTCI really had fun with Arcadian! I came at it with the same process as Pat does with modern comedies (3 laughs is a pass) I thought it was well shot, well acted, good effects & creature designs, cool tone, some emotion, nice soundtrack, a tight 90... and not instantly forgettable. Yep, the story could have been better but It honestly gave me more than what I expected and recently that's a nice change!

2024-07-25 03:45:01 +0000 UTC"Don't Go Back to Rockville" is their best song! Played it in a bar band where the singer butchered it. It was hilarious.

2024-07-25 01:07:27 +0000 UTCY’all sounded so grown up and mature today I wanted to just yell WOO HOO and pretend to drive the big steering wheel like Pete. SomeBODY 😂
Rebecca
2024-07-25 00:20:45 +0000 UTCThey did do The Sadness, but I’m almost positive they haven’t done The Wailing. If they have it’s not on either the Spotify or the Patreon feed.
Colin Crary
2024-07-24 22:49:58 +0000 UTCI thought they did The Wailing? Seems like it woulda been high on their radar *though I might be thinking of The Sadness...I do confuse the two
Dirk Overton
2024-07-24 22:41:28 +0000 UTCI know Joe knows hip-hop, but he has some wild opinions. The new Eminem album is absolutely horrendous lol. Anyway, love you guys thanks for the content, can’t wait to see what you thought of Longlegs! Oh and I would love to see an episode on The Wailing (2016) directed by Na Hong-jin. Great, great horror film I’m sure others would be interested too.
Colin Crary
2024-07-24 21:27:03 +0000 UTCNew Jane’s Addiction song, fellas
Brandon Cool Handsome Funny
2024-07-24 21:21:01 +0000 UTCThe Liam Gallagher and John Squire record from this year is awesome! The rest of the solo stuff can kick rock in my opinion
