February Ep 3 - Tar
Added 2023-02-24 13:17:48 +0000 UTC"Duh-duh-duh-duuuuuh," to quote Lydia Tar, protagonist of this week's movie TAR. It's a flick about cancel culture, conductors, and suicide...all the makings of an American classic! Plus it's nominated for Oscars, so it must be good! Tune in for the review!

Youse guys should check/do commentary on Speak no Evil (it’s on shudder though I feel it was touched upon during movie corners) and Sator on Tubi. Sator is a creepy slow burn that really pays off at the end. Speak No Evil is best horror movie of 2022.

2023-02-25 21:26:03 +0000 UTCSweet sweetness guys! Will not be seeing antman 3 as it looks like a vfx dept threw up on screen. Poor Paul rudd. Great ep even with the absence of anything horror related. And not sure if this is too relevant for the show but would love to hear thoughts on the last of us program. It's the biggest show on streaming, has a video game background and all

2023-02-25 21:25:24 +0000 UTCYou guys made Tar seem so cool I will def watch now. Also I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I watched all 3 Ant Man movies for the first time yesterday. Loved em. I used to hate Marvel movies. Pray for me.

2023-02-25 19:45:57 +0000 UTCHad to laugh at this one and boy did it hit home - Listening while grocery shoping in a packed and understaffed supermarket, paying significantly more for the same items than I would have a year ago. It's definitely not just the film industry going to shit! Also the gripes on film quality resonates. My kid is finally old enough where I can start showing her more mature movies that don't star talking cartoon shits but its such an uphill battle because of what's coming out (sat through hocus pocus 2 the other day..). She's really keen to watch horror so we've compromised by watching classics (King Kong, Creature from the Black Lagoon etc.) - I hate to tell people their business but today's film makers should be ashamed that their being showed up by movies made close to 100 years ago!

2023-02-24 23:17:23 +0000 UTCSo stoked to wake up to 2 new episodes today. I loved hearing your guys thoughts on this movie, I loved Joe’s unique interpretation. The theme of this episode is so spot on, what a great movie to reinforce what we are losing by the minute. This movie was awesome, this episode was awesome, you guys are awesome.

You have no idea how much I needed this right now before I “attempt” to sleep after a hell of a shroom trip, while dealing with a separation with my wife of 20 years amidst all kinds of other issues. So thank you good sirs. I sawre some weird trippy shit last night.
