Also highly recommend the St. Louis band, Foxing, esp. their album nearer my god. If you can see them live, they’re the best. Maybe u already know about them. I'll call it mild turmoil.. among patrons of the Adam Friedland Show (Nick Mullen & Adam's semi-repurposed podcast post-Stavros), because they'd been hyping up this new show they were self-producing, working towards an episode 1 for the better part of 2022. Anyway, long story short the ep 1 kinda fell flat, was basically just their regular pod + Shane Gillis as guest. Mullen explained in subsequent eps that most of his work went into building this vintage looking set like a 70's TV show. The thing that went over everyone's heads, including mine, was that he designed the set to be an exact copy of the old Dick Cavett show, down to the chairs and everything. I looked up pics of Dick Cavett's show and he really did nail the aesthetic So anyway, that's my comment. If you read this far I appreciate it. *Edit: it's me. Hi. I'm the problem it's me.
