I had to hold up traffic today, for a solid minute or so, in order to make sure a nice lady could cross the street, as she should be allowed, in the crosswalk. It was incredibly hot outside, so both my windows were open, and as this grateful and smiling lady came to my side of the street she walked by my window to say “thank you”. I was tired, and not that invested in a response, but I smiled, and then she must have gotten an audible, “…Yeah, fuck that eye socket” from my car radio as I continued listening to Pat, with very awkward timing. Sorry lady, but I love this Podcast. WSYIH! Lol

In the genre it's considered one of the better action movies, and somewhere there's a timeline where McQuarrie makes more movies like that rather than attaching to Tom, but that's not the point. Caan's performance there is so nuanced and relaxed.. and still powerful. My favorite line of his "one's backfire, three's gunplay"

The way people in their late thirties/ early forties rail against we 55+ folks smacks of not just fear and loathing but also ignorance. I am a tight right 60 year old Afro Latina who works out has an amazing job dates (I.e schools) 40 year olds and am certainly more progressive than either of you two. Get to know some older black people. It will change your life. Joe. Love the shop.
