Wait…B Arthur is biologically a woman? My mind is blown. I always thought she was a dude or an actress playing a trans woman

Joe’s reasons for hating a movie always kill me. Love it.

Best intro ever from joe, followed by this exchange Joe: ….“And look who it is…2 Horny little devils!” Pat: “Ohhh no…I don’t want any part of this folks…”

Tom Hayes

P.S. The only non whispery batman movie is the Clooney one. They all whisper all the time

Overall I enjoyed the movie. Of course too long. But I loved how no one would ever assume Bruce Wayne was batman the wY he was portrayed as a fragile emo kid. Also have to disagree with Joe about the clown makeup dudes. No 1 it's Halloween which is a perfectly good reason to have face paint on. No 2 later in the film it's revealed that the joker exists in this universe so totally possible he has fans or followers on the outside

I know Joe hates to see physical media dying out and it's movies like this that'll keep it all alive. The movie was fine, I had a good time... but its portrayal of darkness on screen was truly something to behold. I CAN NOT WAIT for the 4k on this one. I can get my living room way darker than any movie theater in my city and this 4k release will quickly become one of those "showcase" films for what a home theater experience can look like.

So glad you guys agreed. I honestly thought an hour of the movie or somewhere around there was enjoyable and I liked the zodiac/se7en vibe of it but now after you guys mentioned the way that Batman and Gordon were talking to each other that’s going to bother me so much more. That entire mob subplot could’ve been cut it didn’t even tie in with the rest of the movie. No need for this to be three hours. I was like please god let this end already.

I enjoyed the new Batman for the most part, but it definitely could’ve been cut short by at least an hour 15, and then there are some ridiculous plot holes that are un-ignorable. Like Selina’s friend that gets offed catches all of Falcone’s plan while trying to leave her a voicemail.  The entire plan.  They catch her as she’s making the voicemail. The voices were awfully clear, as if the phone was still up to her mouth. Falcone and his men didn’t think to shut off the fucking phone and get rid of any form of evidence?
