The blu ray box set with Scream 1-3 & 2 feature length docs is well worth it, but that’s just my opinion. I’m sure an updated box set is due when these new string of sequel streaks end, though.

I agree 3 is the weakest, but we get a bit of fun from Patrick Warburton & Parker Posie as a, for lack of better phrasing, fake Gail Weathers. 2 was fun for giving Dewey a theme song alone. Plus the Jamie Kennedy kill was a pretty cool send off. & 4 had a great opener with Ghostface saying, “This isn’t a comedy, it’s a horror movie.” A commentary on the question of the franchise leaning towards comedy in the public eye. I would often hear the criticism, “Well, those are more comedies than horror movies.” The Anna Paquin bit was more of a disclaimer, so I wasn’t bothered by it. One of the better quips For Sydney to say as well. Think it went like, “Reboots gotta remember, don’t fuck with the original.”
