2021-10-15 15:38:52 +0000 UTCHaven't watched The Many Saints of Newark yet, but I gotta say I'm floored with Joes take on the Sopranos? I'm from staten island, with family scattered across different boroughs, and I can DEFINITELY confirm the accuracy in the majority of the performances in the Sopranos. I know a lot of people who straight up talk and act like that. The show is a good portrayal and spot-on critique on italian and mob culture. I think watching this movie without seeing the Sopranos is a very odd choice. Joe, you're in Better Call Saul, arguably one of the best prequels ever made to one of the most critically acclaimed, greatest shows ever made. You wouldn't watch Better Call Saul before Breaking Bad as you'd miss all of the references and nuances that come with the reintroduction of characters and plot points that are present in the sequel. Love the show, fellas! But I had to get that one out. lol
