April Episode Two: Justice League: The Snyder Cut

You know, that Justice League movie from a few years ago was so darn good we had to review it again. April Fools! This here is our review of the BRAND NEW extended, re-edited, never-before-seen footage, 70% different, "screw you Joss Whedon" cut of the DC superhero flick! Tune in to see if this version is better or, God forbid, worse!

Where are these reviews Joe's reading that say that the Snyder Cut proves that Batman VS Superman was a good movie?

The big payoff of this episode for me is when Pat hypothesizes Emily is fleeing a gunman , and Joe has to reiterate she is indeed not fleeing a gunman. ( it made that involuntary laughter come out )

Joe talking about the qualities of DC over Marvel is always maddening, since they are basically two sides of the same coin, with both good and bad sides and periods, but I love Pat’s blase stance on it.

Pat and Joe talking about Escape from NY was great. Need to revisit. Lol Joe thinks “Snake” is a Stephen King bully and not an action hero. Surprised he’s never played the video game Metal Gear Solid.

Folks!!! If you haven't seen it yet, check out 'Jodorowski's Dune'-- you'll dig it and it won't prepare you at all for Villaneuve's Dune, though you'll probably want to watch Alien when it's over...

Ever seen clockwatchers? Kind of a lost gem from ‘98. Toni Collette and Parker Posey indie comedy. You guys will enjoy I think. Heard about it on the John Early episode of I said no gifts.

Pat if you see this I suggest a podcast called "2 day rental". It's really greasy & it's all about Bronson & all kinds of wild exploitation movies from way back. They keep changing their archive around which is a hassle but it is a good time imho. 10/10 podcast this week btw
