December Exclusive: White's Tree Frog!!

Hey Everyone!  

Introducing the subscriber exclusive, White's Tree Frog!  Also know as the Dumpy Tree Frog (poor fella).   Since the original Tree Frog model was such a lean and lanky critter, I thought it would be really fun to make a variant of the much more... robust... White's Tree Frog.  They have such fun look and I love the little skin rolls!  

This design has the same magnet cavities (either internal or glue-in) as the other Tree Frog, so the process is the same there, and an instruction PDF is included in the download.    I use these magnets for the Belly and these magnets for the Feet, but other sizes will fit.  The Body will fit round magnets between 10x2mm - 10x3mm. The feet will fit round magnets between 5x2mm - 5x3mm.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

• Body: Print-In-Place.  Pre-supported.  No supports. Internal magnet slots.

• Body, Glue In Magnets: alternate version with external magnets slots to glue them in.

• Head:  Pre-supported snap-fit clip.

• 3MF Multicolor files: Both the captive and glue-in magnet versions. PrusaSlicer & Bambu Studio

• Magnet Test File: Very small model you can print to test your magnet sizes.

• 10-15% Infill.

• 3 Walls if using a 0.4mm nozzle.

Here's a VIDEO of how the head is attached (demo'd on the other Tree Frog).  You'll notice I hook one edge of the clip into the socket and then sort of roll the other side in.  That's the easiest way to fit it.

This model was successfully printed this model down to 60% scale, but your mileage may vary.  It can print even smaller on very accurate printers.
