This is an alternate sculpt is sporting a big ol' open smile, a squint to the eyes, a cute little tongue, and more splayed gills for a bit of spice. 3D PRINTING SETTINGS
Body: Print-In-Place. No Supports (Aside from a Brim)
Head: Snap-Fit to Body. Requires Support "Touching Buildplate". (I like "Tree" supports)
Body with custom Brim: (Print-in-Place, Brim geo is built in so no need to generate one.)
Good bed adhesion is a must! I highly suggest using a BRIM or RAFT to make sure the tail stays upright as the segments build, or use the "customBrim" version of the body.
10-20% Infill.
3 Walls.

Scale to your liking! 100% creates a 10" Axolotl, so that will make it easy to scale it to your desired size. (80% = 8", 75% = 7.5", etc.) Depending on your printer tolerances, you should be able to print close to 60-65% before the joint function may start to become compromised. YMMV

2022-11-04 15:37:27 +0000 UTCIn the Discord one of our patrons has posted his PrusaSlicer supports settings, and many have had great success with them. If you are getting supports inside cavities like the head joint, make sure you are setting them to “support on buildplate only”
