What the FUCK, this is the first time I'm hearing about Venmo transactions being public by default. We have a similar instant transaction app in Sweden co-owned by the 7 largest banks, so when I started hearing people talk about Venmo I just assumed it was pretty much the same thing. Well that and also it sounds fucking insane to combine that kind of utility with a social network, so since I i haven't heard anyone mention it before I've never had a reason to guess. This blows my mind, who the fuck would come up with that and *why*? Well I guess at least that fact gave us the second most hilarious part of this episode behind MTG going full Are We The Baddies, so there's that.
