Hey everyone Coury here! Today is Patron Appreciation Day, so we'd like to take a moment to say just how grateful we are for everyone's support.
We appreciate every viewer we have. No one is obligated to give anything, so the fact that you have chosen to say that what we do has value, that means a lot. Your support ensures that we can dedicate more of our time into making the best show possible, that we can cover subjects as thoroughly as possible, and that each episode can look as good as possible.
We are so lucky to be a part of such a fantastic community.
Earlier this year we were in a really good groove with getting weekly video logs out to patrons. We took what was intended to be a short a break from video logs to consider new formats, and that's extended a bit further than we expected - we're really sorry about that, and we hope to get a few more bonuses for you all by the end of the year, and get back to regular patron content as soon as possible.
This is in part because things have been really crazy - Try is targeting January to start releasing the long-spoken-of 5-part retro tech documentary series, while I've been doing my best to hold down the fort and keeping regular episodes and MLiG Minis going... which can admittedly be challenging at times with a family and impossible to turn down freelance projects.
In the meantime, both of us are preparing for potential major changes to our setups. Try is completing a previously unfinished room in his house to better separate "work" and down time. You can see the work in progress in the image on this post. I might have something else entirely in the works...but I don't want to jinx it. We're really excited for you to see!
We can't wait to hit the ground running in 2020. We've got big plans (including the long-overdue return of the RGB 200 series... Wii, Dreamcast, 3DO and more!), and are excited to get more episodes out more regularly once the documentary series is released. So thanks again to everyone who has come along on this journey with us, and we hope you'll stick around to see where we go next!
In the immortal words of Victor Ireland in the back of a Working Designs game manual: We're nothing with you!
