I’ve been watching Tall Bart’s poops (not a sentence I find myself typing every day) for a while and didn’t know he and his boyfriend were so rad on top of being funny.

He used the money to pay for tickets to make project Veritas employees attend if memory serves.

Oh, and it was James o'keefe who was using project Veritas money to fund his stage projects and musicals and plays.

The woman with the hat y’all were discussing is Nicole Scherzinger, who is probably most known for being the lead vocalist of The Pussycat Dolls. She’s been on tons of singing competition shows as a judge/panelist and was also in Cats in the West End. And the hat thing involved fellow cancelled-celeb-turned-conservative Russel Brand

JP Sears is a creepy right wing manosphere type YouTube influencer. He pretends to be a right wing comedian sometimes I think. QAA has done an episode on him, but it’s been a few years.

Are these pilot episodes supposed to be so short 😭

On the irony vibe, I'm pretty sure they just coat everything in the surface level aesthetics of irony out of fear for ever coming across as sincere. The laugh track is a perfect example, that's something people make fun of and use in insincere ways all the time, so you can just slap it on and give the impression you're really laughing at yourself. But if it really was that and not something they sincerely thought would improve the viewing experience, they wouldn't have dropped it after getting clowned on for doing it in the first one. Especially considering that probably over 90% of the people who saw it were only there to gawk, that's when the typical chud rhetoric is to go "oooh I trolled you, u triggered libs?" In recent years I've grown less fond of the whole "you can't make fun of me because I'm already doing it" self-deprecation attitude, because it often comes across as a paper-thin armor over a total lack of self-confidence. Or at least, when I was like that a lot it was 100% because sincerity meant vulnerability and that was fucking scary. But I guess successfully putting yourself down is still braver than this fake irony, so credit where it's due to everyone with more of a spine than The New Norm's production staff.
