Harry Potter: The Gamer's Dimension Chapter 4
Added 2024-01-25 09:07:23 +0000 UTCHi all,
Here’s the next chapter. Harry finishes his fight with Typhoon and has a conversation with himself.
Chapter 4
Ignoring the agony coursing through his body, Harry scrambled backwards on his hands until his back hit the wall. Typhoon had managed to dislodge the spear from inside its mouth, and he turned to glare at Harry.
Harry almost expected the snake to launch more acid at him because he was virtually defenceless. But he didn't, implying that either Typhoon was unable to produce more venom for some reason or it simply wanted to finish him off in another way.
He looked at Typhoon’s HP. It had now ticked down below ninety, a huge accomplishment considering it started at three hundred. Still, it felt like an insurmountable mountain to climb in his current condition.
He summoned his spear back to his side as the huge head of the snake came closer to him. He gritted his teeth, his mind racing, trying to find a way out of his current predicament.
"There is nowhere left for you to run," Typhoon hissed triumphantly. “Do you have any last words?”
"Sure," Harry replied, grinning. "Echidna had something to say about you before she died."
“What?”
"Echidna said she regretted marrying you because you are as dumb as a doorknob. She was really happy to leave this world, if only to escape from such a bore like you."
“Liar.” Typhoon hissed, his eyes narrowing slits. He reared back, preparing to lunge at him.
Harry blinked. Riling up Typhoon had worked like a charm. He planted the spear on the ground at an angle he thought would work best, just as Tyhoon's open mouth approached to swallow him whole.
Due to Harry's position, the top of Typhoon's mouth struck the wall above him, preventing him from closing his mouth and swallowing him whole. He was almost sitting inside Typhoon’s mouth, so he could see down his throat and feel the repugnant breath blowing on him. Harry attempted to use his feet to push against the bottom of Typhoon's mouth, yet the snake's sheer strength forced his legs to fold back, eliciting cries of excruciating agony from Harry.
Harry gripped the spear tightly and thrust it into the roof of his mouth. The mouth convulsed around him, but Typhoon did not react otherwise. He continued to aggressively push against the wall, attempting to swallow him. Harry raised his hands in desperation and began casting fireballs from both hands at the same time, launching them down into his mouth. A series of damage numbers appeared on his HUD: 8, 7, 8, 9, 10, 8, 10.
Typhoon finally responded, pulling back and hissing angrily. Harry watched as the massive snake writhed around, its HP continuing to plummet. Finally, with one last desperate hiss, the massive snake collapsed to the ground, causing a tremor throughout the arena. When Typhoon came to a stop, its eyes were wide open, fixed on Harry, his blank expression seemingly accusing him of what he had done.
Harry gasped, feeling a rush of relief and triumph wash over him, unable to believe he had defeated the monster in his condition. A notification appeared on his HUD, but he ignored it for a moment, closing his eyes and collapsing to the ground. The adrenaline that had flooded his body had subsided, and the pain from his injury had returned. He cried out in agony, nearly biting his tongue from the excruciating pain on his right side.
When he heard clapping, he opened his eyes and saw that it was the man who had encouraged him before. Despite this, Harry remained wary as the man approached him. He wasn’t sure if he could trust this stranger, but even if he was hostile, he doubted his ability to move even an inch to defend himself given the abuse his body had suffered.
The man's outfit consisted of jeans and a leather jacket, which failed to conceal his impressive physique. Despite their age difference, he and the stranger bore a striking resemblance. The man appeared to be middle-aged, with a weathered expression that suggested a life of hardship. His eyes, on the other hand, were vibrant green and crystal clear, mirroring his own with uncanny precision. He also had longer hair, which appeared to have tamed his nest as it was neatly tied back in a ponytail.
"Well done, Harry," the man said before pausing. “No, that won’t do. If I keep calling you Harry, it will get confusing. I will call you shrimp.”
Harry gave the man a hard stare. “Who are you?”
The man crouched down beside him. "Didn’t you hear me the first time? My name is Harry Potter. More specifically, a future version of yourself.”
Harry’s eyes widened.
The man slapped his thighs. "No, that isn’t entirely accurate either."
Harry's brow furrowed. "You aren’t making much sense."
“I know. I need to work on my introduction. For the time being, call me James.”
Harry opened his mouth to speak but was silenced when James raised his hand. "I’m not your father. Now, remain still while I repair the damage you sustained."
Harry watched as James placed his hand on his ribs, and then an intense light appeared. He felt a soothing warmth wash over him, followed by a tugging sensation inside him. It wasn’t painful, but it did feel strange. After half a minute, James retracted his hand, and Harry was surprised to discover that all of his pain had vanished. He sat up and twisted his body without experiencing a single twinge, which was incredible.
“How did you use wandless magic?” Harry asked. “Do you have some Gamer’s Gloves as well?”
James snorted. “I don’t need to rely on any equipment to perform wandless magic. No, this is part of the system of magic I invented, which you will learn in the future.”
“I don’t understand,” Harry said. "What are you doing here? Was it you that gave me this strange power?”
"No, but I do have some involvement. Before I explain, why don’t you finish collecting your rewards for defeating the snake?"
Harry suddenly remembered Ginny in the chamber and got to his feet. "I need to get out of here."
"Calm down," James advised, reading his thoughts. "The Gamer's Dimension is completely separate from the real world. No time passes there while you are inside here.”
Harry breathed a sigh of relief. Despite the difficulty of the dungeon, he had accomplished his goal. He could leave this dungeon and never return now that he has saved Ginny and met the requirements to heal his arm. This place was even more dangerous than what he had to deal with in the real world. Speaking of which, where was the item that would heal his arm?
Turning his attention to the notification blinking on his HUD, he expanded it and read the battle results.
=============
The LV5 Boss Typhoon was killed!
500 experience points and 50 dimension coins earned.
Typhoon’s essence was found.
Typhoon’s scale was found.
Typhoon’s fang was obtained.
The player has earned a new title: Snake Slayer.
The scenario "Two arms are better than one" is complete.
Calculating rewards….
A chest with your rewards has appeared in the boss's room.
A pair of gates have appeared, which are used to exit the dungeon.
When you exit the dungeon, it will be reset.
The general skill "Gateway" has been learned. You can use it to return to the Nexus at any time.
=============
Harry dismissed the notifications and looked around. Unlike the other monsters, Typhoon's body had disappeared. In the centre of the room was a chest flanked by two gates, one blue and the other red.
“Why are there two gates?” Harry asked.
James snapped his fingers. "Right, the information you received doesn’t cover what happens after you defeat the boss and complete the scenario."
“You haven’t answered my question.”
“Okay, shrimp, there is no need to be hostile,” James said. “The blue gate will return you to the Chamber of Secrets in the real world. The red one will take you to the Nexus.”
“What is that?”
“It’s a central location where you can access all of the dungeons you have unlocked. There is also a store where you can buy and trade for equipment and other useful items.”
"There are other dungeons?" Harry didn’t like the sound of that. "I believe one dungeon is enough; thank you very much."
"I understand why you feel that way. The difficulty was a little too much for you to handle, but it wasn’t up to me to decide. You were being tested to determine whether you were worthy of wielding such power."
"I would like to see who was responsible for this whole mess and smack them," Harry grumbled. Although he was grateful to still have his arm, it didn’t make up for the life-or-death situation he had just been through.
"You are much more assertive than I was at your age," James told him. "And much ruder. I guess it's one of the differences compared to my dimension.”
Harry became completely still. "I must have heard you incorrectly. You didn’t just mention another dimension.”
"I believe it is time to lay my cards on the table,” James said, turning serious. “While I cannot tell you everything because there are some rules, I will share what I can.”
“I’m listening.”
"The dimension from which I come is thirty years ahead of this one," James explained, "and nearly all life has been wiped out due to two apocalyptic events that occurred back to back. It was the second one that dealt the most damage.”
“That’s horrible. Are these apocalypses related to Voldemort in any way?”
Since discovering Voldemort riding on the back of Quirrel's head last year, Harry has been afraid that he would return at some point and cause havoc. He didn’t count the entire Chamber of Secrets incident because it wasn’t Voldemort but some obscure magic that brought his younger self to life.
“The first one was related to him. When Voldemort realised he wasn’t going to win the war, he unleashed a magical disease that turned everyone that was infected into Inferi.”
"They are like zombies," James added, seeing Harry's puzzled expression. "What he didn’t anticipate was how savage the Inferi would become, even more than usual. They were mindless, aggressive monsters who attacked every person they came across, converting even more people into Inferi."
Harry thought his life was bad, but it could not compare to James's. He only hoped that he wouldn't encounter the same event again in the future. “Let me guess. You played the hero and finished off the Inferi.”
James' expression darkened, and for a moment, Harry felt suffocated by the enormous power emanating from him. But it vanished just as quickly that he wondered if he had imagined it.
“I was at the forefront of it. But it took thousands of people to defeat the Inferi, and I lost dozens of comrades along the way."
“What was the second apocalypse?”
“I can’t say,” James said. "Not only am I restricted in what I can speak about, but it may be irrelevant to this dimension if you can change the events that caused it in the first place."
“What do you mean?”
“Haven’t you already been given the information? Through these dungeons, you can alter certain events that have a serious impact on the future. This dungeon has already changed two things that happened in the Chamber of Secrets.”
"Did the same thing happen in your dimension? Did Ginny die inside the chamber? Your arm appears to be fine, though."
James averted his gaze, appearing uncomfortable. “No, those events didn’t happen to me. There are differences between our two dimensions, and I am afraid you received the short end of the stick."
Harry’s eyes narrowed. “Explain.”
"Your dimension has a lot more tumultuous events than mine early on, or so it was explained to me," James said. “So I don’t know how future events will play out here. But you have advantages that I didn’t have when I was your age. You will learn my magic, and you have the Gamer ability to boost your power even further."
“Yeah, it sounds amazing.” Harry snorted. “All I have to do is risk my life by conquering some dungeons.”
James shrugged. "You weren’t adequately prepared for this dungeon, but as I previously stated, that wasn’t my call to make. You will be more prepared for your next dungeon, but I won’t lie, there are still plenty of risks involved."
“Who is responsible for all of this?”
“I can’t say.”
“How did you travel to this dimension?”
“I can’t say.”
"How did you end up working with the individual responsible for all of this?"
"I returned to this time, hoping to prevent the collapse from occurring in the first place. But I can’t do it myself, so I have to leave it to you. I made the deal because it allows me to stay here and help you grow and overcome whatever challenges you may face in the future.”
Harry didn’t ask any more questions. He picked up the spear, stored it in his inventory, and walked over to the treasure chest. Opening the lid, he discovered several items waiting for him, and his eyes gleamed. Even though he could do without the constant danger, he didn’t mind finding treasure.
His attention was immediately drawn to the unusual sight of an entire arm that looked like the real thing. What the hell was this thing? He turned to James, who appeared to be just as surprised.
“Is this how your arm is going to be fixed?” James mused. “By replacing your old one?”
Harry took the arm from the chest and measured it against one of his own. It was the same length as his arms, but he was clueless about how he was supposed to use it. He had an idea, so he retrieved the last appraisal scroll from his inventory and used it to examine the arm in greater detail.
=============
Regenerative Arm | Level Requirement: 1 | Epic | Type: Body Mod | Enchantment Slots: 5
The Regenerative Arm is a replacement arm for the player that functions exactly like his previous one but with a few enhancements. While the arm can be damaged, it will always return to its normal state within a twenty-four-hour period. Furthermore, certain enchantments can be applied to it to increase its usefulness and power.

[Auto-Repair]
============
"Is it trying to turn me into a cyborg or something?" Harry grumbled.
“Who knows?” James replied. “But you can’t argue about its usefulness. You won’t lose anything by replacing your old arm. Just because your life force is determined by HP, it doesn’t mean that one of your body parts cannot be crippled or severed."
“How do I do this?” Harry raised the new arm and pressed it against his right side.
A notification popped up on his HUD.
===========
Do you want to swap out your current arm for the Magic Arm? The Gamer’s Glove will automatically transfer over to the new arm.
After it has been replaced, there is no going back on the decision.
Y/N
===========
"As if I have a choice?" Harry snarked. “It’s either this or no arm at all.”
Harry chose yes, and he was surprised to see his right arm separate from his body. Fortunately, there was no pain, and the Magic Arm quickly attached itself to his right shoulder. He flexed his new arm several times, and it felt perfectly normal. It felt great to regain sensation in his arm, even though it had come in handy during his dungeon run when facing the monsters.
"What are you planning to do with the old arm?" James asked. "You could use it as a bludgeoning weapon."
“You’re hilarious,” Harry exclaimed. After a moment of consideration, he placed the arm in his inventory. Although he had no idea what he would use it for, there was nothing to lose by keeping it in his inventory.,
He turned his attention back to the treasure chest. Inside, there were two grimoires. One of the books had a pearly white cover adorned with an image on the front. The image depicted a golden staff with wings extending from the top, holding two snakes that were intricately intertwined in an ornate pattern.
Harry reached out to grab the book, but a notification appeared on his HUD. He opened it to read the new message.
===========
The player doesn’t meet the requirements for obtaining knowledge from this grimoire.
Requirements: Level 5, Magic 15, Willpower 15.
===========
Harry was initially disappointed but then remembered that he had recently gained a lot of experience points. Surely it was enough for at least two levels?
"I recommend that you hold off on acquiring that Grimoire for the time being," James suggested. "The other grimoire will be of greater use to you in the short term, as it may give you some free attributes."
Harry examined the other grimoire. Compared to the other one, it didn’t look that impressive. It was a plain black binding with the image of a star on the front. Curious, he reached out and grabbed it, prompting another notification to appear.
============
Would you like to obtain the knowledge held within the Upper Path grimoire?
Y/N
============
Harry chose yes, and the grimoire vanished from his hands as motes of light before rushing into his body. Since he had already experienced the phenomenon before, he wasn’t startled this time.
“What’s the Upper Path?” Harry asked.
“Why don’t you open the menu and find out?”
Harry took his advice and spoke a command, which opened a new menu that he hadn’t explored before. It was the Grimoire Board, which contained all of the skills he had gained from the Grimoires and gave him the option of unlocking them by spending SP.
Each grimoire generated skills that appeared as a grouping of interconnected nodes. The grouping for his general skills was in the lower left corner, and he noticed that three of the nodes were already illuminated, indicating that they had been learned. They were Assess 1, Occlumency, and the skill he had just acquired: Gateway.
The general skills were divided into two groups: the Dungeon Explorer's Path and the Atypical Path. The former had Assess 1 and Gateway as its first two nodes, with a third node connected to them and waiting to be unlocked. It was named Appraisal 1 and it needed 1SP to unlock it. The remaining nodes were greyed out, so he couldn’t see what skills they contained.
"I recommend that you learn the Appraisal skill immediately," James said. "You can’t use those appraisal scrolls indefinitely, and they only work on equipment, not items like potions."
Harry nodded. He currently had four SP, and this was before he spent his current experience points to level up.
The first node on the Atypical Path contained the Occlumency skill, while the second node contained a skill named Skillshare, which cost a whopping 10SP. When he focused on it, a description appeared alongside it, which he read through.
============
Skillshare | Consumable | Rank: B | Unlock: 10SP | Cost: 0 MP | Attribute: --
Description: Allows the player to share one unlocked skill with a person who isn’t affiliated with the System. Some skills cannot be shared as they have strict requirements that only the player can meet. Once this skill has been used, it disappears forever.
==========
“That’s another skill I suggest you get at some point,” James said, looking over Harry’s shoulder.
Harry cast a suspicious look at the man, as he seemed a little too eager for him to obtain this skill. "What exactly would I use it for?"
"Well, Occlumency is a good option because it allows you to share a secret with someone you trust while ensuring that no one can read their mind. It takes years to master as well, so I am kind of jealous that you got it without any effort. You won’t be able to share any Upper Path skills with someone, though, because only the two of us can utilise them.”
"Who would I even choose to impart a skill to?"
James raised an eyebrow as if to say, "Really?"
Harry guessed he deserved that look because there were only two options at the moment. One of them was Ron, but he hesitated to pick the boy. Although he was a good friend most of the time, he could be flaky at times, and Harry didn’t trust Ron to not blab his secret by accident.
Hermione, on the other hand, was a better choice. While he expected to be bombarded with hundreds of questions about his ability, he knew he could rely on her to keep it secret. She would also provide valuable advice on how he could best use his abilities.
James smiled. "Hermione is not only brilliant but also completely loyal to you. I cannot begin to tell you how many times that girl saved my life."
“Stop reading my mind!”
“I’m not,” James replied. "It is simply a logical conclusion that I reached. It appears that we are both fortunate to have similar Hermione’s in both dimensions."
Harry nodded. He could agree with that statement. Regardless, he didn’t need to decide right now because he wasn't going to get the skill anytime soon.
“Do I have to unlock the skills in sequential order?” Harry asked. “It seems kind of a waste. What if there is a skill that I don’t like?”
"Well, I can’t say for certain, but there may be a skill later on that will partially resolve that issue."
That wasn’t a satisfactory answer, but Harry put it aside for the moment. He focused his attention on the other set of skills he had obtained from the Upper Path grimoire, which was located at the bottom centre. He noticed that it only had one path, and there were no SP requirements listed.
The first skill was simply called Mana Sense, and it wasn’t unlocked. He sent James a questioning look, who smiled at him.
"Compared to other skills, mastering the skills in this group will require more effort. This grimoire is related to my magical system, and the skills must be unlocked naturally. However, there are benefits as well. You don’t have to spend any skill points on them, and you can unlock and master the skills by practising in the real world.”
“Well, that doesn’t sound too bad,” Harry said.
He reached into the chest and took out two potions for restoring HP and MP. These potions would replace those he had used up. After putting them in his inventory, he took out the final item, a dark green robe that felt like silk when he ran his hands over it.
Harry frowned. “I don’t have any more appraisal scrolls. I need to spend some skill points on the appraisal skill.”
Before doing so, he spent his experience points and levelled up twice to level 5. He earned ten AP and four skill points. His HP and MP both increased by fifty, leaving him wondering if his resources would always follow the same pattern of increasing by twenty-five at each level.
He didn’t spend his AP, as he recalled what James had said earlier about earning some attributes through training. He went into his Grimoire menu and spent 1 SP to acquire the Appraisal skill, leaving him with seven skill points left. He thought about spending them but decided to leave it for the time being as he was exhausted.
He had to fight not only the Basilisk but also his way through the dungeon. Unfortunately, there was no resource for stamina or something similar, as being able to recover it with a potion would have been useful.
He read the description of the appraisal skill before exiting the menu.
==========
Appraisal 1 | Active | Rank: E | Upgrade: 2SP | Cost: 7 MP | Attribute: INT
Description: Allows the player to examine an item and receive a detailed description of it. This skill is only effective for items below level twenty, as well as equipment below the Rare tier. The Intelligence attribute may have the effect of revealing hidden parameters about certain items.
==========
Harry used his new skill on the robe.
==========
Typhoon’s Robe | Level Requirement: 5 | Uncommon | Type: Defence | Enchantment Slots: 0
This robe is made out of materials harvested from Typhoon’s body. It had impressive defensive capabilities and provided some protection against all poisons and acid attacks. Has a special ability that passively increases the chance that an opponent will be poisoned when they come into contact with the robe.
Defence: 10
Magical Defence: 10.
Resist Poison: 50%
Resist Acid: 50%
Special Ability:
Poisonous Touch: 15% chance to inflict poison on contact.
===========
“Awesome,” Harry exclaimed.
“I suggest that you don’t put it on right away,” James said. “It would raise some questions when you return to the chamber.”
Harry nodded and stored away the robe before getting to his feet. “I’m tired, so I’m going to call it a day and return to the real world. Are you coming with me?”
"Harry, technically, I am no longer alive," James remarked wryly. "I can’t leave the Gamer's Dimension."
"Oh," Harry rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, not sure what to say.
“It’s fine,” James said, waving his hand dismissively. “I expected the outcome when I came to this dimension. Aren’t you going to check out the Nexus before you leave?"
"Not now," Harry said with a yawn. “I’m dead on my feet. I can use the Gateway skill to travel to this Nexus whenever I want, right?"
‘Yes, but there are some limitations,” James said. “But I can explain them to you when you return. I will also get you started with the Upper Path, as you can work on the skills over the summer holidays. Take some time to rest, as you deserve it after today. ”
Harry said his farewell and headed over to the blue gateway. He passed through it, and he found himself back in the chamber.
Seeing Ginny still lying in the same position, he took the soul renewal potion out of his inventory and rushed over to her.
‘How am I supposed to feed it to her?” Harry frowned.
He kneeled beside her and held her head in his lap. Prying open her mouth, he slowly tipped the contents of the vial into her mouth and massaged her throat to help her swallow. He wasn’t sure if he was doing it right, but he managed to get her to swallow the entire contents without coughing it back up.
Harry placed her head back on the ground and waited to see if she would wake up. While he waited, he decided to try something. He used the Assess skill on her. Above her head, some text appeared.
Ginerva Weasley.
Level 1
He was surprised that it worked at all, but it looked like the skill was limited here. He had no idea what the level represented for someone in the real world. Was this Ginny’s actual strength or did the System compare an individual’s strength to his own and assign them a level based on that? Did that mean he was stronger than her at level five, or was it more nuanced? Perhaps he should ask James when he sees him again.
Ginny coughed, and her eyes flickered open. Harry smiled, relieved to see her alive. She appeared confused for a brief moment before locking eyes with him. Ginny sat up and began speaking quickly.
"Harry, you must leave," Ginny cried. “It was me all along. I am the one who unleashed the Basilisk on the school. Tom forced me to do it through the diary. I tried to resist but I wasn’t strong enough. You must—”
"I believe that is the most you have ever said to me at one time," Harry interrupted her. “It’s okay, Ginny. Tom and the diary have both been destroyed.
"What about the...?" Ginny fell silent as she turned her head and saw the Basilisk's corpse. Her mouth opened and closed several times before she was able to speak again. “How did you do that?”
‘It’s a long story,” Harry said, getting to his feet. He extended a hand to her and helped her to her feet. “Come on, I’m exhausted. Let’s see if we can find a way out of here.”
Before he left the chamber, he grabbed the diary and the Sword of Gryffindor and placed the Sorting Hat on his head. The hat was silent, though, and didn’t speak to Harry. They made their way down the tunnel, and he had to listen to Ginny sob as she told him she would be expelled from Hogwarts. Uncomfortable with the clingy girl, he chose to wait and let Ron comfort her instead, rather than making an awkward attempt himself.
Harry noticed the debris blocking the tunnel ahead of him. But a space had been cleared out in the middle, and he could see Ron's face peering out the other side.
"Is that you, Harry?" Ron yelled before noticing Ginny walking alongside Harry. “Yes! I knew you wouldn’t let me down.”
Ron helped them climb through the hole and hugged Ginny to his side. Harry, relieved to be rid of that burden, led them down the tunnel towards the entrance. They passed Gilderoy Lockhart along the way, who was babbling nonsense to himself and completely ignored them.
“What happened to him?” Ginny asked.
"The memory charm he tried on us backfired on him," Ron explained cheerfully. "I don’t think he knows where or who he is right now."
“It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person," Harry said, grinning.
They made it to the entrance but ran into a problem.
"How are we going to get out of here, mate?" Ron asked.
"No idea," Harry admitted. He thought about it for a moment before getting an idea.
He hissed 'open' as loudly as he could and heard a rumble as the wall to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom slid open.
“Is there anyone up there?” Harry shouted.
He waited a moment until a familiar ghost appeared, flying down the pipe.
"Oh, you aren’t dead," Moaning Myrtle said, sighing.
“You don’t have to sound so disappointed,” Harry muttered. “Would you mind summoning a professor to get us out of here?”
“I suppose,” Myrtle replied, turning around and flying back up the pipe.
"Even dead girls are hitting on you," Ron joked, grinning. "At least if you die, there is still a chance for romance."
“Shut it,” Harry said, punching Ron’s shoulder.
Professor Flitwick appeared about ten minutes later, flying down on one of the school brooms.
"Well, Miss Weasley, it is a relief to see you are all right." Flitwick smiled at her before turning to Harry. "It’s not surprising that you are involved, and I am sure the tale you have to share is really exciting. Is that the Gryffindor Sword in your hands?
Harry nodded. “I managed to pull it out of the Sorting Hat. It saved my life.”
“Interesting. Well, let’s get you three out of here and get you to the infirmary.”
“Professor Lockhart is also down here,” Harry informed him. “His memory is gone.”
Professor Flitwick appeared unconcerned about the man. "I can return for him later."
The professor flew them up to the bathroom one at a time before leading them to the infirmary. As Madam Pomfrey fussed over them, Professor Flitwick went to see Dumbledore and inform him of the situation. The headmaster had just returned to Hogwarts in the last hour.
Harry lay back in his bed, exhausted and aware that he would be interrogated soon. He smiled as he looked over at Hermione, who remained frozen in her bed.
“It won’t be long before you are back to normal.”
So, what do you think? In the next chapter, we see the fallout from the Chamber of Secrets, and Hermione recovers from her petrification.
Thanks for reading.
