DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS (Second Picture)

We're currently play-testing the world I've created, and honing exactly what we want to do with this PLANET SELECT session.

I've been absolutely delighted taking the helm of Dungeon Master.

A strong mix of ascendant encounter planning, world building, and comedic character improvisation.

The 5 Player Characters have spoken highly of the quest thus far, and we should have a fully fledged PLANET SELECT CAMPAIGN ready to go by Winter, which will take place a few decades after this secret beta test (dripping in lore)

A cool note here, the folks behind the PC's will all be swinging by my studio to record the broadcast live and in person!

Another step forward with the live streams, excited to share it!

Will be using Midjourney and Dall-E2 and Stable Diffusion to develop the world 

Speaking of which.

TECHNICAL NOTES: (Third Picture)

I've received my invite to DALL-E 2 (the most "true to life" AI generation), and have got to see with my OWN EYES why it's quickly becoming the PATRON SAINT of STOCK PHOTO ENJOYERS such as myself.

- Inpainting (with my profile picture) allows me to "zoom out" from a particular scene, summoning extra environment to play with.

- Variations (with the tavern) allows me to see, well, variations on an existing image, dreamed up by the AI!

I've talked of MIDJOURNEY before (a more abstract AI generation system) and have discovered this workflow

- Create Visual Interesting Unique Images in Midjourney

- Import them into DALL-E 2 and synthesize for "image cohesion" or a realistic look

- Stack, Layer, and edit these various artworks in FCPX to give depth and the illusion of 3D (a digital version of this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdHTlUGN1zw)

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TIME TO BE AN ARTIST!

To instantly create aesthetically pleasing backgrounds that perfectly fit a fantasy vibe allows me to greater curate world design (both for sketches, series, and DnD streams!) and at a breakneck speed that suits my editing pace.

Hours to discover the perfect image, now mere minutes for EVEN BETTER ones (and copyright free!)

A POWERFUL TOOL!

I believe Artificial Intelligence can never replace TRUE HUMAN CREATIVITY, and that a trained eye will forever bring forth GREATER SOUL (I've enlisted a few artists to help design key aspects of this Yule Quest)

While this tool is definitely a thorn for more "craftsman" focused art makers (say graphic designers as opposed to painters) I think overall this provides great potential for human expression!

Excited to see how all artists incorporate this into their workflows, in terms of brainstorming and experimentation.

Definitely a strong way to generate a jumping off point, where you can then refine AI GENERATIONS with your own human touch!
