The Review of Value Select's 2021 (The Dawn of the Dark Age)

Brothers.

The Dark Age Hath Wrought a Mighty Toll.

2021 was marked by DEMONIC DESCENT.

Descent into panic, into fear, into despair!

The fever pitch of PANDEMIC PANDEMONIUM saw society tremble, as the virus COVID wreaked havoc upon our minds, bodies, souls, and political structures!

No matter where you stood, you felt the quake, and you felt it hard!

I SHARE WITH YOU IN THIS!

Stranded in Los Angeles my band of brothers, the TRIPLE BUNK BOYS, fell apart.

We survived the first year of lockdown, blessedly productive, but as the reign of uncertainty continued, we made the hard decision of fully adjusting to this new reality.

IT WAS ESSENTIAL!

Our weekly live show, the reason we came here, was now impossible.

What then for us? As individuals?

For one, it was focusing on script work, and becoming a production assistant.

For another, it was being a bastard and secretly dating my sister. (I let her live in the house down here to WORK, ya idiot!)

This act of sneaky sister-datery was the proverbial dating of the sister that broke the proverbial Max Renner’s why would you do this.

The group (in that incarnation) was done!

And while rocky, I believe it was all for the best, and work to view it as such.

Still, when the split occurred, the joy-house became a pain-place.

I tasked myself with finding a new spot to live, and everything about it hurt.

Between bouts of sadness, I turned to the one pure place left to me.

A beacon of hope, in a sea of shadows.

A trio of lights, and a thumbtacked green screen.

And how far we’ve ascended this past year!!!

Meeting everyone who flew out to the San Francisco show was the biggest blessing, and reading/responding to the thoughtful comments you leave on every video is always ennobling.

The glimmer of hope, the promise of better things, the bond of brotherhood has been instrumental for me in these trying times.

I love you guys.

• DAILY “CHARACTER POEM” COMMUNITY POSTS (Lore Galore!)
• 197k YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS!

Incredible!

And the 2022 resolutions are as such:

• Sell out all 25 shows (Tickets drop to Patrons Mid-January due to logistic issues)
• Studio Album of Classic Hits! (Recorded with the VS Band!)
• Twitch Partnership (Keeping with the Daily Schedule)
• Weekly High Quality Videos (Sketch, Song, and Series)
• 100k followers for each auxiliary social (Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok)
• Absolutely Shredded (The Fittest I’ve Ever Been)
• Healthy Balance Needed to Accomplish These Goals! (Work Hard, Play Hard)

These Dark Age shackles shall be cast off soon enough.

The Renaissance is upon us, I can feel it.
