Progress Report 2/11/2022
Added 2022-02-12 01:59:48 +0000 UTCI just ate... SO much food... Here's what I got done this week:
- Finished about half the line art for the next drawing
- Sketched 30 panels on the storyboard for Chapter 1 of the upcoming comic
I have a legitimately good excuse this week! My car broke down on Monday (thankfully in a parking space here at home) and I spent a good chunk of my free time this week fixing it with my dad and brother. I owe them huge thanks because we finally got it working this afternoon, and I know basically zero about how cars work. ^^; Anyhoo, apologies for the lack of progress this week.
On the plus side, I'm finally getting this storyboard off the ground! The 30 panels make up just about half of the chapter, and getting the poses and camera angles down is half the battle with drawing comics. I'll finish Chapter 1 yet! >:D
That's it for now! I'm... gonna eat Taco Bell tomorrow. I don't want to think about food at the moment... I'll see you guys next week, or whenever my impending hibernation ends!

2022-02-12 18:07:42 +0000 UTCThis particular comic will be its own thing; I intend it to be a long-term comic with in-depth characters. :) We took apart the air intake of the engine (or something?) and sprayed starting fluid into it. That got my car to actually run for a moment before shutting down again, so we did that a few more times. After a few more failed attempts, we put the air intake part back on and tried one more time, and it worked! So in other words, I have absolutely no idea. XD

This is the worst time for the competition for me that could have possibly have been... I know it was my idea and I was hyped, but... Well... I just can't :(
