Progress Report 5/28/2021
Added 2021-05-28 22:48:42 +0000 UTCIt's getting really hard to come up with new intros for Friday! Here's what I got done this week:
- Drew up and added all sprites for the upgrade buttons
- Made upgrade buttons light up and make sounds with mouse interaction
- Made sprites for the quantity arrows for the Upgrade Lab
- Updated sprites for the big buttons in the Upgrade Lab
- Made two lights for the Upgrade Lab to indicate if a purchase is successful or unsuccessful
- Fixed a bug that allows you to go into debt purchasing more excavation consumables than you can afford. This'll be rolled out in the next game update.
That's right! The Upgrade Lab got a makeover! The colors may change a tad here and there, depending on how you guys feel about it (and me, once I come back to it with fresh eyes). I believe all that's left to do with the Upgrade lab is making a sprite for the Main/Splat Menu buttons and giving it some sound. It'll be one heck of an accomplishment once this thing is finished!
Also, I'm gonna toot my own horn here and say that all the Upgrade button sprites put together like that ended up looking REALLY cool! :D
Now then, I don't like the look this Taco Bell is giving me so I'm gonna eat it to assert dominance. I'll see you guys again next week!
Oh, right, and the poll for the Upgrade Lab music vs. ambiance ended up in a tie... :I

Just be sure to not accidentally have any other sound snippets play in the background. Disney would sue you to death. xD
