Progress Report 8/14/20
Added 2020-08-14 19:14:44 +0000 UTCIn honor of the greatest fry cook of our time, SpongeBob SquarePants, let's celebrate Friday! Here's what I got done this week:
- Implemented three new upgrades: "Elasticity", "Gas Leak", and "Juiciness"! These are a little trickier to guess without playing. ;P
- Fixed the issue with high score not saving.
- Fixed the issue with wine currency not saving if you quit prematurely.
Hopefully some of the bugs that you guys have mentioned are fixed with this one. If not, let me know and I'll do my best to get it sorted out. If everything goes smoothly, however, you get to experience "Elasticity", which has gotta be my favorite upgrade! You'll see why. :D

It's occurred to me that combining the game update and the progress report last week meant Short-tier patrons couldn't see it. That was a total brain fart on my part; sorry about that. Here's last week's progress report for Short-tier patrons who are interested:
You better not have sat down yet, because today's not Saturday -- it's Friday! Here's what I got done [last] week:
- Finished prototyping the upgrade menu (AKA The Upgrade Lab)!
- Turned wine into a currency for buying upgrades.
- Implemented two upgrades: "Thorns" and "Polish". You'll have to play to see what they do, oooor you can use the hints in this post to deduce it. ;D
The game is going through a bit of an ugly duckling phase right now, but as everything gets added it'll turn into a beautiful swan!... er, wait... duckling, swan... You get what I mean. Until then, have fun with the new toys! I'mma eat some Taco Bell.
