Food Delivery Day in Costa Rica
Added 2023-05-23 14:10:02 +0000 UTCAs you may have guessed from my nude cooking videos, I’m a huge foodie. I think one of the biggest tragedies of our times, especially in western countries is how cut off we are from our food supply, the process of growing it, the people who grow it, etc.
While the US does have many small organic produce farms and a few large ones, generally they only grow animal products and junk food crops like GMO corn or soy.
In Costa Rica, and all of Latin America really, the connection to good is so much more tangible. You meet the people who grow it. They deliver it to your house. Use talk to them every week at the local Féria (farmers market).
Our disconnection from our food is one of many things that has destroyed our collective sense of community. And I don’t think it was an accident.

I now buy tofu, dry kidney beans, and a few vegetables for my two vegan meals a week. But you are really serious about your green diet. How much do you miss that great place in Costa Rica? ❤️
