I can imaging how difficult it is to transfer a TV sitcom onto the stage, deciding which scenes to include and which to leave out. Also of course the actors have to be believable as those characters that the audience have come to know and love. I recently saw the Only Fools and Horses stage show and my experience was very similar. Some scenes were immediately recognised and cheered by the audience, but others left people slightly confused. Similarly, some of the actors were perfectly suited and basically impersonated the original cast, whilst some were less convincing. Overall I hope you agree that the tradition of keeping our nations favourite sitcoms alive in this form is a worthy project.

2025-01-18 12:57:23 +0000 UTCThat was a throughly enjoyable review Megan, a few thoughts, The only thing I can recall John Cleese doing afterwards that was similar to Fawlty towers would be the movies Clockwise (1986) which is very farcial and a fish called Wanda from 88/89 is is really funny. But heck 16 quid for a cocktail, I can get a couple of cases of lager up here for that price :P. Have a great weekend.
