Charge upfront is now on
Added 2020-03-13 03:41:19 +0000 UTCJust a quick word, I just activated the charge upfront feature. If you're a patron already it doesn't change anything. It just changes how it works for new patrons. Instead of paying at the end of the month after they pledge, they will pay right alway and be a patron for the entire month, like most subscription services.
I know I should've done this a long time ago, since most creators already use it, but I kinda forgot. The main reason I'm doing it is to avoid people that pledge, get the content they want and then cancel the pledge before paying. It honestly doesn't bother me that much, since those people will not pledge anyway now that it's charge upfront, but I feel like it's unfair to other patrons.
Since I'm already here, I'm pushing hard to release 0.0.7 by tomorrow, hopefully it all goes well. Cheers!
