New project overview
Added 2019-09-19 20:18:46 +0000 UTCThis is a brief introduction to the new game I'll be doing. I have a lot more than this already planned, this is more of a somewhat spoiler-free overview.
Inspiration: The game is inspired on things like D&D, LotR and GoT. Also adult games like Corruption of Champions, Long Live the Princess and Peasant's Quest.
Genre: The game is set on a high fantasy setting, with multiple civilized (maybe not so much) races (goblins, orcs, elves), monsters (demons, giants, beasts) and magic (transformation, scrying, enchanting)
Story: I don't wanna get too much into the story, 'cause spoilers, but let's just say I have a nice overarching story planned with multiple plots running in parallel. Here is an introduction:
"You start your journey in a crowdy little village by the side of a big road, through which a lot of travelers pass and stop, looking for a nice rest and re-supply. You didn't have too much luck in life thus far and are pretty much struggling to survive. You ended up associating yourself with a group of thieves looking to ambush unaware travelers on the road. But luck is not on your side once again, and you end up stealing something very valuable and dangerous. In the face of death, as the people you stole come after you, a mysterious entity comes in contact, offering great power in exchange for your help in achieving its own goals. A pact you could say. Which of course you accept. What could go wrong, after all?"
This is of course not final and names are yet TBD.
Core mechanics: You can navigate the world, talk to NPCs, go on quests, unlocking new areas as they go. The player will have skills, magic, and items at his disposal to solve problems and reach objectives in different ways.
- Skills: things like stealth, charisma, lockpicking, etc. They get better as you use them in a challenging manner, but capped by a max value that increases as you progress.
- Magic: As you progress you unlock multiple types of magic that can be used in combat or in other situations, to solve problems and quests.
- Items: You will collect items along your journey. Be it potions, scrolls, ancient artifacts. They will sometimes be part of the story and others are just additional aids in combat or to progress.
- Clues: As you progress through the quests, you will acquire keywords that can be used in conversations. When using the keywords, you can discover new information, unlock scenes and advance the quests and the story.
Porn: That's what you're all here for, I know. So, let's get to it. The scenes will be done in the same way as I did before. 3D renders done in Daz3d with carefully crafted animations here and there. There will be a lot of different humanoid races in the world and I intend to give all of them their time to shine. I plan to have at least one relevant sexable (is that a word?) female character of every big race. As well as males of most of them as well. The more monstrous, deformed, abhorrent species/races will only have males (at least present in the adult scenes). There will also be non-intelligent creatures/monsters that can be interacted with. The open-end nature of the game will make it difficult to have variants of every scene for everything the player could be or do at that moment. So instead, each "sexable" creature will have requirements for each scene. Meaning you'll only get the scene if you're using a certain form, have an advanced enough relationship, have certain items, things like that. This will add a puzzle-like aspect to getting all the scenes in the game, since you'll have to figure out what the NPCs like, pay attention to clues, etc.
It's still a work in progress, so things might change a bit here and there, but overall that's the plan I'm going for.
