Thank you for holding space for the lyrics of defying gravity with us

Maybe this is just my I-have-been-a-fan-for-two-decades nostalgia goggles but I genuinely think Wicked did a better job of depicting marginalization under a right-wing dictatorship than most other media I've seen. Certainly more than most fantasy media

I would pay money to watch you perform over the moon. Like take my money 🤣🤣

I love your take on creative people's processes and wanting to see how a moment is made. I do low key wish more people would have that approach specifically with the spongebob musical. Like is it possible for us to make fun of Ethan Slater without belittling the years of work the rest of that team did? It was made with a lot of care and collaboration and it feels like the work of everyone else on that show has been drowned out by all the people making fun of Slater for being corny. Like its not perfect and some of the messages are messy. But for a piece of children's theater, it is exceptional. Every song was written by a different artist like the Flaming Lips and Cindy Lauper and John Legend and Sara Bareilles and T.I. of all fucking people? AND A SONG BY DAVID BOWIE SONG IN ACT 1. And like Patrick accidentally starts a cult with a full on gospel song in his honor? Like it is FUN and that is a hill I will die on.

I'm currently watching this video on the tubes. Just wanted to say your nails are gorgeous. The rest of you is also gorgeous. Love the look 🫶🏻

What's Ariana nervous about? Running off with someone's husband? She should be!! I'm lying, I'm just being petty & ole girl has a pattern 😹🫣

Erron Perez

You would be a FANTASTIC Maureen! Someone needs to make that happen.

Sydney Frasure

You better do that run in the end credits!!!

Once the scene of Dr Dillamond’s arrest happened I was sobbing until the very end. In fact I’m sobbing now even thinking of that scene. What Cynthia can do just with her eyes is astonishing. Defying Gravity is way too emotional too. I’m a credit watcher in the theatre, and this time I really needed that ten minutes to calm the F down. I was completely unfamiliar with the show, but read the book and LOVED it. Seeing this now, before so many of us are fearful about what is going to happen in a week and a half…the fascism of it all…. I wonder if the larger audience will have analysis?

Sadly I start channeling my Grandmother when I see esp Ariana being so thin made me want to say "You too skinny" (in a heavy Polish accent). The main problem I have is it sends a dangerous message to young girls who are not savvy to the reality of stars and body differences. Now the trolling on a social media format on their looks is another thing, besides here with the topic I spoke out. Otherwise I just hope those close to her will talk with her. Doesn't help I worked with AIDS patients for the 1980-90's so it triggers my worry genes. Luckily beyond Patreon I follow the adage to keep my mouth shut.

Yep. Got the new Doja cuz she did that
