Hi Patrons!

It’s been a LONG time!

First, let me just say thank you so much to those of you who’ve stuck around during my long drafting hiatus! Last week, I sent the draft in question off to my editor at Del Rey, which means that for the first time in months, I have a minute to work on my side projects!

Coming off the monster Del Rey draft, I found it easiest to jump to Muse of Echoes rather than any of the other projects I’m supposed to be writing. Probably because Muse has more foundation down than the stuff I haven’t started yet, but the plot of early Muse is considerably less complex than the mess of late Gunpowder Magnolia.

At some point, I plan to resume regular posting of serial chapters (of Gunpowder, Muse, and maybe a new project tbd), hopefully at an accelerated pace. But until I know more about my publishing schedule for the coming year, I can’t make any promises.

For now, I just want to say I appreciate all of you and to share a new chapter of Muse of Echoes with all my paid members—to be posted here in a minute!
