Hardest day of our life
Added 2022-10-18 22:35:13 +0000 UTCAbout a week ago my wife was having an ultrasound and during that appointment they noticed fluid in the brain. So they sent us to a high risk facility for a more in depth look at what is going on. While at that appointment they went to check for a heart beat and there was none. She immediately burst into tears as the realization set in.
There was nothing that Peyton did wrong to cause this, doctors tell us it looks like it may have been a genetic thing, but they will be running tests to try and get answers for us.
Being that she is 24 weeks along, they immediately scheduled her to be admitted to the hospital that night and at 2am she was induced.
We got this news Monday and have been in the hospital just waiting for contractions to start so she can give birth to our silent baby.
This has been the hardest most difficult past couple of days. Enormously emotional, painful, tearful and Peyton is distraught and heart broken and there is only more pain and tears to come as she gets closer to going into labor.
We are hurting and I wanted you all to know why I have been/will be absent for a little while as we work through this.
I will eventually make a video for YouTube to update everyone there as well but for now, this is where we are at.
He was a big baby boy and we are just engulfed in grief.
