2022-09-24 18:42:42 +0000 UTChiii i requested mac! i’m so glad you like it. a little about the song Come Back to Earth is about the depression that Mac struggled with and how he used drugs to help cope with that. The lyrics “And I was drownin’, but now I’m swimming/ Through stressful waters to relief” is a representation of how when things would get rough for Mac he often turned to drugs as a coping mechanism. The lyrics “And what I won’t tell you/ I’ll prolly never even tell myself” reflects how hurt and how much pain he was going through but his refusal to recognize it. The song talks about his struggles but has a slight hope for the future. Mac was such a fantastic musician and was changing the rap game. He had a focus on Jazz Rap. I’m really glad you liked it❤️😩
