Something that’s relatively easy to try! I did this when I was playing around RoughAnimator and I decided to make it a bit easier to digest.
I think this is a neat trick in limited animation commonly seen in anime where they don’t really do mouth shapes for specific sounds. For the most part, especially in conversation scenes, they use 3 mouth shapes when delivering dialogue. It may look a tad jarring, but it sure beats having to follow mouth charts and timing when dealing with dialogue in terms of saving time and effort.
