Faketober 5-6

Day 5-

VELVETEENI [Ghost/Fairy]

Believed to be a close relative of Mimikyu, Velveteeni sews and inhabits a plush doll in search of a soft and lovable form. It has a poor understanding of anatomy and style, so its bodies are often poorly-made and prone to falling apart.

HUGBEAR [Ghost/Fairy]

When Velveteeni evolves, its new large body is much sturdier, and supernaturally soft and comfortable. It greatly enjoys bearhugs, and this is also how it subdues foes. Its combination of quirky cuteness and durability make it a popular partner, but Hugbear is not always satisfied with mere popularity...

FRANKENBROID [Ghost/Fairy]

Ability: Sheer Force or Pixilate

Frankenbroid is the end result of Hugbear's obsession with an ever-cuter form. Faces are cute, it reasons, so two faces must be twice as cute. It recalls the lopsided arm it had as a Velveteeni having fans, that should be brought back. It's as soft and playful as ever, but insinuating that it is anything less than perfectly adorable is liable to send it into hysterics.

SKYDROPONIC [Grass/Steel]

Ability: Levitate

Skydroponic is an artificial Pokemon designed to spend most of its life in zero gravity, tending to the plants growing from its limbs. Upon creation, they tend to be stubborn, impersonal, and professional to a fault, focusing most of its time sunbathing and tending to its personal garden. As they form closer bonds with trainers, they open up and begin taking more rest time. For reasons Skydroponic manufacturers don't understand, they only produce the most delicious plants after this bond is created.

Skydroponic has a signature move, Verdant Drift, which allows it to simultaneously switch to an ally and plant Leech Seeds on its foe. The move fails if the enemy is immune to Leech Seed or already seeded.

Day 6-

HEXTON [Bug/Ghost]

Ability: Bad Luck (Every Pokemon has a lowered chance of secondary effects triggering, landing critical hits, and missing attacks.)

Evolves from Ledian when it faints while holding a Reaper Cloth.

Hexton is a ponderous creature found in graveyards and bogs. While common knowledge suggests that it eats or somehow consumes the spirits of the dead, this is untrue, and Hexton is an obligate herbivore, with a particular taste for flowers. Still, it guards its home fiercely, and many churches and cemeteries have learned to allow their self-appointed groundskeepers free roam of the place.
