Bonus Credit #56 - Mitch McConnell’s Marble Madness
Added 2025-07-03 00:00:04 +0000 UTCThou hast awaited thine suppence of recorded-yet-unusedeth audio materials, a reserve of finest caliber witticisms and japes, and thou shalt receive thine reward! The Insert Credit Players present jolly conversation regarding the Wars in the Stars, the discoveries of history that await buried in sub-basements of ye olde Chicagotowne, and the saga of the Weed Mom.
A SMALL DESCRIPTION OF EPISODES PULLED FROM:
(Ep. 391) Pre-show. Jaffe explains the revision of the credit system to Frank and Brandon. Brandon forgot he was watching Andor, and has NOT gone back to it. Jaffe recommends Star Wars: Visions, but Brandon doesn’t seem into the idea, same with the anime Batman movie. The game industry didn’t really survive in Chicago, which is a shame. Only twelve people have worked at Incredible Technologies for 35 years. High Voltage started with White Men Can’t Jump on the Atari Jaguar. Ash was dealing with a student trying to learn about video game journalism.
(Ep. 391) Post-show. Frank has been hanging out in Roger Sharp’s basement, and is going to find all the game dev material in Kentucky. Ash shares a personal story about visiting Netherrealm. Mike Boon loves the mocap cameras. The idea of an Insert Credit meetup is once again idly bandied about.
(Ep. 392) Extended break. Frank has been sharing Bubsy pictures, and one of them has a banana on the table, but I’ve been advised to not show you this photo and encourage you to imagine it. Black people have played Bubsy. Ash would love to do research on why the Sega Genesis holds a special place in the black community, and a few theories on why are presented.
(Ep. 393) Pre-show. Ash asks Frank about those Taito roms that he scanned in on stream a couple weeks ago. Jaffe has an idea regarding gacha pulls.
(Ep. 393) Mid-show interruption. Ash hears her dog barking, and smells weed.

I live in Chicago and love the idea of an IC meetup!
