A bit ashamed to admit that I instinctively groaned when the responding to trolls segment came up, I just didn't think that anything of value could be derived from that conversation. Well, color me surprised. It went in quite a couple surprising and insightful directions.

Divine bovid mammal! I liked that one a lot. Please tell Ash, I really liked her working in some personal matters and the genuine takes on that. Especially when it turns out to be so transferable to other live subjects. Stay curious everyone!

Ash really is such a great fit and doing such a solid job hosting. Really appreciated the longer discussions, particularly Q5. Thanks for being so vocal in wanting to stomp out and shame that behavior and rhetoric, Frank.

YES! More love for Cloud Atlas!

I thought the responding to trolls conversation was great. I do get pretty tired of Tim & others whining about morons on Twitter. It was nice for Brandon to point out that stuff doesn't happen so much on other platforms. It'd be nice if people stopped using Twitter given its moderation policies explicitly encourage this behavior. You can't fix a platform like that, it's just giving a hostile platform more power.

seeing that this weeks pod is over an hour and half in length *rubs hands together*

Fun fact for Brandon is that Tim called Minish Cap his least favorite Zelda game on stream earlier this year. I really like it, albeit not as much as the three GB games.

Love how Frank declares Brandon the winner of the episode in the first question in an attempt to ensure he won't win again this week. I feel like the "pet the dog" stuff came with "dog parents" and their insistence of bringing their dogs everywhere, especially indoor areas where they shouldn't be brought. Us non-dog folks think you're all insane. (Not to mention the any dog is an emotional support dog bullshit.) I know the panelists are dog fans, but I like to think they don't lack the self-awareness to exude this type of irrational behavior.

Good reading. Related to the conversation. I agree with Frank and I think ignoring “it” is delicate and grey. Reading suggested is not an opinion (even though I admire the lawyers here). It is just food for thought. Interesting. https://www.aclu.org/issues/free-speech/skokie-case-how-i-came-represent-free-speech-rights-nazis

“These computers have been tuned by a particular hurricane of bad opinions and ideas. Because that’s what drives conversation.” Tim Rogers I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
