Gaiden #9 simply wasn’t enough! Patrons deserve even more chill hangouts that take place during recordings but don’t quite fit into the main feed. This sampling of such features Frank and Jaffe talking comics, Brandon and Tim talking TV, and even a special segment recorded only for our bonus listeners where Jaffe and Esper share game opinions.
A SMALL DESCRIPTION OF EPISODES PULLED FROM:
(Ep. 353) Pre-show. Jaffe explains why he avoids some questions. Brandon explains the whole push of technology right now. Special guest Holly Nielsen enjoys the charming and lovely aspects of historical photographs. Who can say if Microsoft Copilot is really gone?
(Ep. 353) post-show. Dog talk! Brandon has a Saber to show everyone. Jaffe is dogblind. Special guest Holly Nielsen is just happy to not be talking about Edwardian Christian propriety culture.
(Ep. 354) Pre-show. Comics talk! Frank is reading Shade the Changing Man, a series Brandon has actually read but Jaffe has actually not read all of. Brandon wishes he could shave in such a way that he would not have a five o’clock shadow, but that’s not an option. Chris Bachalo is one of my personal favorite comics artists.
(Ep. 354) Post-show. Tim stole the Dreamcast version of Tony Hawk 2, why would you assume he had the Playstation version? Jaffe has been reading the 1950’s Strange Adventures comics. You can imagine what’s happening when Tim wishes he had a tugging knob on his shirt. If you’re interested in writing, you should watch I Think You Should Leave. Brandon liked the Fallout series, and ponders season 2. Pep Boys is the auto parts shop.
(Ep. 355) Extended break. Jaffe hums “If I Only Had A Brain” and thinks Aladdin is better than Grease. Brandon had to watch movies he didn’t enjoy growing up because of how much his little sister enjoyed them. Mimsy is swinging a bag of rotisserie chicken around. Tim’s neck hurts because of how long it takes his toilet to flush. When you’re in public, you should flush with the toe of your shoe, too.
(A Special Moment That Takes Place Outside the Constraints of Normal Episode Recording (Which Is To Say, there wasn’t enough bonus content this week so Jaffe and I recorded something extra for you)) Jaffe has been playing Star Wars: Outlaws and has a video game opinion about it. Editor Esper Quinn has some subscriber-exclusive opinions about Magic: the Gathering that, by virtue of you having already paid for them, you implicitly agree with. That’s how capitalism works, I think.
