Bonus Credit #31 - Zero the Yakuza
Added 2023-04-28 06:15:22 +0000 UTCWhen an episode a week just isn’t enough, treat yourself to the finest bonus material this side of the Detroit River. Hear Frank share how he prevents the History Foundation’s Nintendos from yellowing, Brandon’s opinions on The Last of Us as someone who has not played nor watched it, Tim’s hotel/casino experience, and coverage of the eras of Clive Owen.
A SMALL DESCRIPTION OF EPISODES PULLED FROM:
- (Ep. 277) Pre-show. Special guest Colin “MoxBagel” had a horrible realization recently. Brandon recently rediscovered his BladeStorm: The 500 Years War letter opener. The 3DS episode is planned. Mathew Kumar’s microphone is derided. Tim’s soundbar adds an element of suspense to the show.
- (Ep. 277) Post-show. The audacity of putting “Part 1” in the name of a game is discussed. Frank doesn’t let UV rays into the History Foundation, leading to a discussion about game storage. Tim suggests Brandon pick up a MiSTer and asks Frank about the RetroTINK. The idea of a PSP episode is floated; let us know if that’s something you’d like to hear.
- (Ep. 278) Post-show. Tim shares his list of Top 10 3DS Games That Need To Be Released For Single Screen Platforms As Soon As Possible but decides to leave it as a Top 5. Mathew Kumar notes that the Metroid Prime remaster is suprisingly good considering the current state of Nintendo, and shares a bit of Rumbleverse opinion. Brandon asks Tim a question about attending a particular convention that, sadly, now does not need answering.
- (Ep. 279) Pre-show. Nobody on the panel but Tim is watching The Last of Us, including Special guest Jim Gerstmann. Tim says more nice things about Detroit, which makes me (Esper) happy. Gaming, in the casino sense, is discussed. 1998 British neo-noir crime drama thriller Croupier starring Clive Owen is recommended. Whether or not you want a sign to tell you when the train is coming to your stop, you have no control over when it actually arrives.
