That’s a pretty rad review! My first impression of them was that they sounded like the soundtrack of Lethal Weapon movie set in the Mad Max universe.

2023-04-06 23:53:11 +0000 UTCSpeaking of horn toots, tooting the horn in Mario kart 8 makes the other characters around you pop out of their seats! Useless but it makes me giggle

2023-04-06 13:11:46 +0000 UTCWow! That first question really brought out some incredible answers, haha! Frank is such a rad dude. Casey's response was so relatable. Speaking of which, Casey was a great guest! Hope Casey has another opportunity to join the podcast again in the future. Scoregem's button that let's you roleplay question was a fun one. I've been trying to conjure some answers of my own but been entirely unsuccessful. The closest I could figure was the chirping from "JOURNEY." The "Mario!" button for "Luigi's Mansion" was a great answer, Alex!

2023-04-04 18:51:26 +0000 UTC(brandon:) This isn't gonna be the review you're hoping for but I'd say they're alright! They've got shades of Numbers, the Vanishing, the yeah yeah yeahs and crystal stilts, with elements of a very subdued Pink & Brown or very VERY subdued Lightning Bolt, but those are all bands I've listened to and seen live to the point I can't really get anything new from their ilk 20 years later without some big steps or deviations, which party dozen does not appear to make from what I've heard. So I'd say they're good, but for the grizzled 2000s post/art rock scene veteran there's not quite enough newness here to re-engage with a genre I've burned out on. Hope that makes sense!
