New episode on youtube
Added 2021-05-20 04:39:52 +0000 UTCYou may have seen this on the forums possibly, but esper is trying something with the podcast where they mix some stock footage with some filters and insert credit-y colors to create a moving looping backdrop for the show on youtube. We're not sure whether this will take off, but we figure the more places to share the better.
Any thoughts are welcome - we're also considering putting some gameplay stuff in here, but then we'd need permission from a bunch of folks each week which seems like a while situation. But if we could get permission from specific uploaders to use anything of theirs (with credit) maybe we could get something going.
We wonder if the youtube form factor works better for anybody? worse? etc!

2021-05-21 03:09:53 +0000 UTCI like that the background video loop changes for each new question. My suggestion would be to add YouTube chapter timestamps as well. To me, the value of listening to a podcast on YouTube is being able to discuss it in the comments which is something you can’t do on a podcast app. So maybe this will take draw in new fans if enough from the forums get active in the YouTube comments.
